Help with hostel needed!

It was an incredible experience! The kids are sweet and smart. The tasks are clear and mostly involve helping with the care of the children, including putting them to sleep at bedtime. There are moments of crying, screaming and running, but it's just children being children. Ioanna is kind. This was the first time a volunteer stayed at Dionysios' house (the kids' father) and everything went great. Both are excellent hosts and very attentive, always doing their best to make me feel welcomed and at home. Dionysios cooks very well and makes delicious drinks. I totally recommend the experience!!!

I had an amazing time staying with Joanna for 10 days on my own. She showed me the ropes and trusted me from day one, giving me plenty of freedom to explore and enjoy the local culture. As a first-timer, I loved the experience and would definitely recommend it!

I recommend this volunteering 100%! Ioanna is an amazing host, super friendly and communicative... The children are very nice, quiet and also have their things because they are still children, but it is a super easy job, which requires patience and responsibility! If you want to live a comfortable and quiet experience in Brussels, this is your place :)

¡La experiencia fue muy enriquecedora! Ioanna siempre te hace sentir bienvenido en su hogar. Cuidar a los niños no se debe tomar a la ligera ya que implica una gran responsabilidad, además requiere de mucha paciencia y empatía, una vez que entiendes sus gustos e intereses, atenderlos y pasar tiempo con ellos es más fácil. Nos comunicamos con ellos en inglés y también nos enseñaron unas cuantas palabras en griego. Mi estancia fue en pareja y juntos, aún recordamos a Leónidas y Achilleas en nuestra vida diaria, dejaron una huella significativa en nuestros corazones :D

I spent two weeks in Ioanna's house, I liked the experience. Localization it's nice and it's possible to go to places walking. The activities in the hostel are easy and fast to make. As babysitter, Leonidas and Achilleas are nice and funny children. Thank you for this experience!

I had a very pleasant experience in this volunteer program. Ioanna is an exceptional person, always attentive and willing to help with any questions. She made sure I had everything I needed, which made me feel very comfortable. I had the opportunity to take care of her children, who are lovely and well-mannered. The tasks were simple and easy to carry out. Additionally, the hostel has an excellent location. I highly recommend this experience. Thank you, Ioanna, for everything! I hope to repeat this experience in the future.

La mamá es muy buena y te hace sentir bienvenido. Los niños son muy lindos y fáciles de cuidar pero requiere de mucha paciencia. Aunque si me decepcionó que si bien sabía que la habitación era compartida no es en el mejor estado, la cama hacía mucho ruido por lo cual era imposible de dormir. En toda tu estadía no tenes mucha privacidad. Yo estuve solo 3 días.

A different and pleasant experience. Ioanna is a great host and an excellent cook. The boys have a lot of energy and are fun to be around. Good energy is guaranteed when volunteering.

My stay at Ioanna's house was great! The shifts were only a few hours a day which allowed me to explore the city or nearby places. Ioanna was always concerned about food since I am a vegetarian, and she made me a lot of delicious food!! I had a really good time with Ioanna and the boys, thank you!

I had an amazing time staying with Ioanna and her two boys! She is super warm and welcoming and makes you feel right at home, always ready with conversation and tips for exploring Belgium. The boys were lovely to work with, they're so sweet and full of personality, especially after they get to know you. The schedule was very flexible and well communicated, and there was plenty of free time to explore Brussels and other cities as well, and the house is also very central. Also Ioanna's cooking was delicious, and always with my allergies in mind. A massive thank you to Ioanna for everything!!😊
