we need a person who can help with the cleaning of the apartments that we have.we are a small family business in livadh himare albania.the distance from the beach is 350 meters we have 6 apartments in total and my mother also helps with the cleaning.the main tasks here are house cleaning, ironing,washing the dishes and some times if the volunteer wants cooking.

This was my first time travelling alone and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience that I will always carry in my heart. The host and his parents were incredibly kind,warm and welcoming.the host was extremely respectful,professional and helpful in every way and always made sure we were comfortable. The work was not hard at all and I had plenty of free time. We also had 2 days off each week. The location itself was absolutely beautiful and the house is very close to a stunning beach I honestly couldn't not ask for anything better. I highly recommend this host 💛

This was my first volunteering experience and i would recommend it to anyone! paul, zoe and zacharia welcomed me as a member of their family, they always made sure that i didn't need anything. the food was nice and the work was easy i had plenty of time to enjoy the beach and the city. i am very happy to have been able to work with them it was really an amazing experience.

The location is nice, but the experience was not what I expected. I was asked to do tasks outside the original agreement, communication often felt aggressive, and some interactions were personally uncomfortable. Food was provided but very limited, so future volunteers should clarify work expectations, meals, and overall environment in advance. I don't recommend it, they are not flexible, only one person speaks English. The beach is 500m from the hotel. The host shouted at me just because I told him cleaning his house was not part of the deal but the six the hotel, i left one week after.

Thank you for your feedback. We agreed on 5 days/week, 5 hours/day, and were flexible when possible, even giving you a day off on your first day. Meals were provided three times daily, more than agreed. When you asked not to clean the basement, we accommodated immediately.However, some tasks were left incomplete, phone use was frequent, and communication was sometimes uncooperative. We expect commitment and respect from volunteers. You came for holidays not for volunteering.

When I arrived, the conditions were not as agreed. I was supposed to have a private room, work 25h/week with 2 days off and 3 meals a day, but I shared a room with two others. The work was very inflexible. Tasks included not only cleaning the hotel but also ironing, washing dishes, and extra chores in their house to fill 5h/day. I was asked to cook three times, twice on my days off. Days off were fixed after 5 days in a row ( You couldn't choose).Food was limited. Attempts to improve conditions failed, we were treated like employees, not volunteers, we were even shouted at, so left early.

Thank you for your feedback. We want to clarify a few points for transparency.
You cooked only once and often avoided work. Although we once allowed you to leave early as a courtesy, we noticed that you frequently rushed through cleaning tasks to finish earlier than scheduled. Additionally, there were instances of disrespectful behavior towards my mother, including the use of offensive language
We maintain a fair, respectful environment and value volunteers who fully commit to their duties.

They gave me a private room with a nice bathroom, a desk and good internet connection. Inside my room, I felt very comfortable. However, the other areas of the house, like the kitchen, were not organized, so I don't recommend it for those who care a lot about cleanliness and organization. The work is easy, and the mother was very patient in teaching me—I even learned a few Greek words. The food was basic and simple, and lunch was often late because the mother received no help from the family in the house or at the hotel. I'm grateful for receiving me, especially Zoe and the sweet grandmother.
