Help us and stay in our private Caravan in the Sunshine Coast

The Vaney's seem like very kind & understanding people but unfortunately the stay was not what I expected. I ended up leaving the second day due to a strange interaction I had with a man knocking on my caravan door at midnight (which the family did apologize for) & the cigarette smell around the property. Of course it is their home & they can smoke wherever they'd like, but it would've been nice to know in advance. From my limited time there, the work mostly involved cleaning the house. Overall it just wasn't the experience for me but might be perfect for someone else!

I did explain to you after you left and had told me why you felt uncomfortable that that should NOT have happened and that that person was someone we were helping out and is no longer staying with us. I am not sure what you were expecting to know in advance. Best of luck in your travels. I just wanted to make clear to other travellers, of which we have had many, that this was an isolated incident that will not be repeated.

It is a cozy place, surrounded by nature. The place to stay is very comfortable. The Vaney family is very kind, they gave me directions and good information to enjoy many places on the Sunshine Coast, they also lent me a bicycle to use. I recommend this host.

Helen was an amazing person to have stay at our place. She worked incredibly hard and did much, much more than was required. She is a lovely person. It was a pleasure to have her as a guest.

Beautiful place with a river to go during the hot day! The family were very nice to us. A car is a must:)
