I loved staying at the lodge! I learned a lot about permaculture, cooking, and how to start my own project. I felt inspired by what they have done here and Manuela and Guilhermo were very kind, welcoming hosts. The rancho that I stayed in was cozy and perfect. I miss all the animals!

It was my first time volunteering through world packers. I felt very safe and welcomed at the lodge. The hosts were amazing! Very laid back with the tasks and let me do what I felt most come to able with. They like to have their volunteers do tasks they enjoy doing. I helped with social media, cleaning, prepared meals, harvested hibiscus & okras. It was cool seeing how they live sustainable and off grid. I left with an inspiration to take a permaculture course! There's so much more to say but not enough room. I will miss you guys, you two are such great hosts!! I hope to come back :)
