Assist with social media content (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) — short posts, stories, reels.
Engage with guests to make sure they feel included and have a great time.
Combination of evening events + flexible hours during the day for marketing/content work.

At The Banana Tree Hostel in Ninh Binh, we’re more than just a place to sleep — we’re a community where travelers connect, share, and create memories together. We’re looking for a creative and social volunteer to help us bring the hostel vibe to life both in-person with events and online with marketing content.

As part of our young, friendly Vietnamese team, you’ll:

Help plan and host fun events for our guests (quiz nights, bingo, parties, family dinners, etc.)

Capture moments around the hostel (photos & videos) and share the energy on social media.

Support with online marketing for our tours and activities.

Be the extra spark that makes guests feel welcome and included.

This is a role for someone who loves meeting people, having fun, and being creative. You’ll gain hands-on hospitality experience, improve your communication and marketing skills, and enjoy the chance to live in one of Vietnam’s most beautiful destinations.

Attività e turni

Activities you’ll help with:
Organizing & hosting hostel events (quiz night, bingo, parties, family dinner, etc.)
Taking photos & videos of events, guests, and hostel life
Helping with social media posts & online marketing of tours/activities
Assisting reception/FOH team with guest engagement when needed

Shifts & Schedule:
Around 25 hours per week (5 hours per day, 5 days a week)
Evening shifts for events (usually 6:00–10:00 PM)
Some flexible daytime hours for content creation & marketing tasks
2 days off per week to explore Ninh Binh and relax

Regole

Follow our general house rules for all guests and also the following:
Respect guests, staff, and fellow volunteers at all times.
No being drunk or overly hungover during your shift (you can enjoy the parties, but stay responsible).
Be on time and ready for your scheduled activities.
Keep shared staff areas tidy and respect hostel property.
Help create a positive, welcoming vibe for everyone — this is what makes the Banana Tree special!
