Volunteer contribute $15 dollar will be used in three meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), maintenance, water and electricity bills also supporting the project.

As a host in Zanzibar, I am seeking enthusiastic & dedicated volunteers to assist with our community-based educational project. Teaching Basic English, Computer Skills And Arts: Volunteers with/without a background in teaching or a strong grasp of English and basic computer skills are welcome to help teach local youth. Your role will involve creating lesson plans, conducting classes, and providing one to one support to students

My experience had its ups and downs, the kids are lovely, and working with them is fun! Juma is okay most of the time but i also felt uncomfortable often, if you pay he can drive you around the island, as its almost impossible to travel longer distances on your own. However I did not feel taken care of when i needed it, also when he drove me back to the airport i reminded myself that i forgot something from the house that was very important to me, i wanted to pay more so he can bring it for me, instead he just drove of without even saying goodbye and thats how my experience ended.

Thank you for your feedback, Zuzanna.We value honesty and wish to clarify we are a small,community based organization with limited resources, as noted on our Worldpackers profile.Free transport & mobile data are not included,though we provided both occasionally as goodwill gestures.Our focus is serving a low income community,and volunteers are expected to respect these limits. We appreciate your time with the children and wish you the best in your future travels

Since I first get there Juma help me in many ways. He is also available to take you around the island and show you around. The school is a small reality still growing. The kids were great, a lot of them still find english hard but they are happy to learn. I stayed there for two weeks and had plenty of time to see the beautiful beaches and to get to know their daily life.

Whisful is an incredible organization that offers a truly life-changing experience. Juma, the founder, and his colleague Mudrik and Francis were incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. The kids were absolute sweethearts, and it was an honor to be a part of their lives for a short while. Asante sana!
