It was great spending time at the home resort! The staff is really friendly, it was lovely to meet them all 🫶 The work is not hard, and it was nice to ski again! Thanks so much for having me, and hope to see you again (maybe for another ski season 😊)

I loved my stay at the home resort. The hours of work were perfect, leaving me enough time to enjoy the snow or onsen or just relax, because there wasn't much else to do without access to a car. I was lucky enough to be able to try the only staff snowboard that there was. The chairlift doesn't even go to half the home, but since I'm a beginner that was okay for me. Living with the other volunteers was great! Everyone was so nice. The only thing I thought was the heating situation wasn't optimal, the heaters stop by themselves after some time so you'd wake up in a very cold room.

Had a super fun time in the home! Working hours were respected and the kitchen was always stocked with groceries weekly :) House is a bit dirty but it was a fun place to live in with the people I met there!

Had an great time completing various tasks inside and outside the resort which kept things interesting. Never a dull day of work! This was only heightened by the beauty of the home and the fact that we could use the vehicles for our own excursions around the area.

I had a great time at the home Resort. I was lucky enough to have volunteered with a great group of people which made staying at the gaijin house a lot of fun. It can be hard if there are no other volunteers at the same time. There are not too many things to do if you're not a nature person. But if there is a group of volunteers it can be a great time. Thanks to Riku, Dan, John, Yuka, and Aki for being great hosts!

Iwani resort is a beautiful place surrounded by nature and amazing views. The staff was friendly and the food was also provided. The tasks were easy and they are flexible with the schedule. Sadly I went when the resort was close, so I couldn't enjoy fully the experience of skiing. I applied for a kitchen role and I ended doing other things like painting and cleaning. There's not much to do around unless you take the train. Besides that I suggest that if you apply to this place try to go in high season when is more alive and there are more activities to have fun.

The members of the House and staff were supper welcoming. There are new people going to volunteer every so often and you are able to create strong relationships with them and your amazing surroundings!
