I had a great time here. The teachers and children are so kind and respectful, and the staff and family in homestay are also really friendly and nice. The school and homestay are close to the organization Central, so it was easy to go out. I enjoyed yoga classes and surfing whenever I wanted. I felt welcome the whole time and made wonderful memories. Special thanks to Novia. she supported me with everything I needed. I would love to join this volunteer program again if I have a chance. Thank you so much for everything.

Novia (host), Megan (local teacher), and the Balinese Children are the wonderful people you will interact with at the after-school learning center. Mia and her 3-generations of family members will be the hospitable people to interact with at the Guesthouse. Monday-Thursday (3 pm to 5 pm) are the teaching hours at the learning center. At all other times, you would be free to create your own schedule. The learning center and the guesthouse are in the same neighborhood. Novia, Megan, and Mia speak good English, so communication is going to be a breeze.

I absolutely loved my time volunteering. I had originally booked 2 weeks but extended to 3 after a couple of days. Novia and Mega were great to work with and do an incredible job at the school. The kids are amazing and extremely respectful and the homestay was great too. Only a short bike ride into the organization centre. Working at the school from 2.30-5.30pm and having Fri-Sun off meant there was loads of personal time to travel and see different areas. Would definitely recommend to everyone!

This is such a cool experience and I cannot wait to go back to the school. The atmosphere of the school is relaxed and there is no pressure on the kids, and in turn the kids are all really sweet and keen to learn more. Novia and Megan are dedicated to the kids and are really great to work with and learn from. I stayed at a nearby home stay and was hosted by Mia who is lovely and makes delicious breakfasts, and her family is lovely too. The school is out in nature which is refreshing. I am a solo female traveller and so was nervous going into it, but I was made to feel so comfortable.

I had such a good experience volunteering with this program! Novia is so kind and welcoming, and is really passionate about teaching the children english. I really enjoyed my time helping the children, they are all eager to learn and you really feel like you are making an impact even in a short space of time. I would recommend this volunteering experience to everyone!

I had a wonderful experience! Novia was kind and welcoming and the school has a great atmosphere. The kids are eager to learn and adapt to new people helping them. The home stay hosts were wonderful and Mia always made sure I had what I needed. The homestay is 30 mins from the organization and 2 minutes from the school. I had a wonderful enriching time and hope I can return to teach again. Novia is doing an amazing job with her project.

I had an incredible experience teaching the children—they're full of enthusiasm and eager to learn. Mega and Novia made me feel so welcome from the start, and I would love the opportunity to teach here again. Mia and her family were incredibly kind, hosting me in their home and even inviting me to an unforgettable Indonesian wedding. It was truly a special experience. I wish the school all the best for the future!

This was one of the best experiences I've had! You stay with a lovely local family who provide you breakfast. Excellent facilities at the homestay and you really get to immerse yourself in the local culture ~ I was invited to a Balinese wedding and ceremony both amazing experiences! The school is 2 minutes away from the homestay. The children at the school are the loveliest children you'll meet, all enthusiastic about learning English and playing sports! So if you love teaching and enjoy working with kids aged from 5 to 12 apply now you won't regret it.Thank you Novia, Mega, Mia and family🤍
