I've stayed at the hostel for a month and I would have never wanted to leave, the connections that are created by living in this hostel are deep and beautiful. Talking about the work aspect: the shift are established beforehand and you will not get asked to do more, during the shift you will obviously have to work but the job is not difficult or too tiring and the context in which it takes place helps to make it more enjoyable. Here I found what I was looking for and even more, a house full of beautiful people who soon became family.

I was so incredibly lucky to spend time with AloeVera! The people, the environment, the lifestyle was better than i could have imagined. Very shortly after I arrived, AloeVera felt like home. I would recommend this opportunity to everyone who comes across it. The experience was a 10/10. It's a special location with a special team of people, I am a better person from knowing them and being apart of the community. So much gratitude for my time on the island. 🫶

I have been very lucky! the hostel is not just a hostel but a true the hostel when strangers become family and the place becomes home. Two minutes from a not crowdy beach where you can go to surf and relax, plenty of food for the volunteers, both managers friendly and generous, and an atmosphere of peace and fun. It is everything you can look for! Hope to come back at some point :)

I had an amazing time at the hostel! The Managers were nice to me from the beginning and always made sure I felt comfortable and had a good time. The shifts were always manageable and we had a lot of free time to explore the Island. I got to meet many new people and had a lot of fun. I definitely recommend this experience!

Disfruté mucho mi experiencia en el hostel, los managers siempre presentes por cualquier inconveniente y muy buena onda. Los turnos son largos pero se pasan rápido y al ser intercalados se hace muy ameno. Aunque está alejado del pueblo el lugar es super cómodo para moverse. Recomiendo para aprender o entrenar idiomas y conocer gente de todos lados.

It's been a huge pleasure spending the last two months at the hostel. The managers are super friendly and always willing to listen. I've met many guests who were very impressed by the friendly atmosphere, the volunteers, and the hostel itself. Although the hostel is a half-hour walk from the hostel, the location is a dream, with a beach and sea views for breakfast. The shifts are usually manageable, but can sometimes be stressful. Luckily, we've always been able to help each other keep the hostel clean and tidy.

2 months with the hostel family was definitely too short, my amazing stay started the second they opened the door. Its a privilege to be able to live in this place and with all the wonderful people, i truly fell in love with the house and the people around it. Everything was as discussed, you will have a lot of free time to explore the island and meet both locals and other travelers. the hostel is a amazing city where i spend a lot of time. The volunteers i the hostel this experience with will always be close to my heart, and thanks Matias, Tiziano and Carlos for everything! See you soon!🫶🏼

From the day I arrived to the hostel until the day I left, the experience was nothing else but a dream. I never thought that I can create such deep friendships and connections with likeminded people. The work itself was great, nothing hard, also learned lots of useful skills, especially social… the managers are like close friends that will help you anytime you need them. But it's not just the hostel, the place around is so beautiful I can't even describe it. Well of course the best thing were the other volunteers who made this experience full of love and unforgettable memories ❤️.

I'm very grateful for the opportunity and the warm hosts at the hostel. Personally, the experience was challenging. The hostel's location is far from the main areas of the island, and the work was very heavy—tasks that could be for 2-3 people end up falling on just one, making it too hard. The room situation was also uncomfortable, as I had to share with guests, leaving little privacy or space for my belongings. While it didn't work for me, I believe it could be a great experience for others.
