My experience at the school was nothing short of exceptional. Upon arrival, I was made to feel welcome by Jessica, Chris, and the whole team. The enthusiasm they all have for their work, and dedication to making the process of teaching and learning English was exlempary. To get the most out of the volunteering I believe you should go with a flexible attitude and throw yourself in, don't just wait to be told what to do. Join in every conversation and any class available, and you'll see genuine gratitude from teachers and students alike. I firmly believe you get out what you put in.

This was my first volunteer experience with Worldpackers, and I couldn't have been luckier to choose the school. Jessica and her husband Cris created a respectful and supportive environment, always ready to help whenever I needed. The accommodation is incredibly comfortable, with everything necessary to feel right at home. The school is fantastic, and the students and teachers are both amazing and welcoming. I also had the chance to explore the local sights and meet people from Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas. I'm grateful to Worldpackers and the school for such an unforgettable experience!

Jessica is an impeccable and hospitable host; you will be welcomed as if you were part of the family. She is attentive and accommodating to the needs of the volunteers. Working at her school is a personally enriching experience, and you can't help but grow fond of the students. In your free time, there are many breathtaking places to visit if you are a nature lover. Highly recommended.

I had a great four weeks with Jessica and the school team. I lived in Puerto Varas which is a beautiful town with good transport links to tourist attractions. The workload was totally fair, and I was even given a few days off, allowing me to take long weekends in places such as Chiloé and Hornopirén. The accomodation is more than comfortable, and I always felt I was looked after and had everything I needed. Jessica and the rest of the school teachers were great fun to work with, and I always felt welcome in their classes and around the office. Thank you for this experience!

My first weeks was amazing and I enjoyed classes with all the students. We connected so well. However I had a conflict with (Jessica) the owner of the school. I got a new job while I was volunteering and I communicated these unexpected changes to her, she did not take this well. During our meeting she insulted me and did not acknowledge my good intentions of the school. Any extra personal expenses I paid for them and informed her that I did not mind, she still did not acknowledge my contributions and intentions. She is not good with communicating and is disrespectful.

I loved being part of "the school"'s family , the south of Chile is so beautiful and welcoming. I enjoyed doing classes in "Piedra Azul" and participating with the young learners. In addition, I helped in the language school of the school in Puerto Montt where I had the chance to make a workshop related to my experience as a worldpacker and how English has helped on my way to be volunteer around the world. I recommend to know a little bit of spanish when you come to Chile as you may need it while using public transportation.
