My experience on the boat with Sam and the crew was just amazing. No notes. He created such a beautiful and warm atmosphere where we all ate and worked together that by the end of our time we felt like family. The location is one that rivals some of the most amazing places I have seen in Australia but you get to see the hidden local parts rather than just the tourist spots. I left the boat thinking about when I could return and I think that's all that needs to be said!

I cannot recommend this experience enough! Sam is an amazing and wonderful host that goes above and beyond to make everyone feel included and welcome. The work is very fair, and Sam is always happy to help if you're unsure of anything. I have stayed with Sam over several crews, ranging from 6 people to just myself. I was a bit hesitant about being in a smaller Crew at first, but I found the experience to be just as much fun in an intimate setting. I wish I could come back here for the first time again!

Going to the boat was truly a unique experience! Surrounded by water and stunning hills the location is idyllic. The vibes were amazing, I learned so many new things and made great memories both working and during the adventures on our days off. The work is fair and Sam is patient and explains things clearly. Come to the boat if you want to learn more about diy-ing, if you want to have a lot of fun and want to connect on a deeper level with yourself and others :))

The experience at the boat completely exceeded any expectations! Starting with Sam, an inspiring, friendly person with a great sense of humor and a special energy. It's not just a simple work-for-accommodation exchange—that's the least important part. What truly matters is the experience of living with such special people, sharing and learning so much, laughing until you cry, crying until you laugh… feeling alive and enjoying every moment! If any of this resonates with you, this is your place! 100% recommended!

Absolutely amazing experience! Sam is a gem. He puts a lot of effort into making everyone feel welcome and having everyone enjoy themselves. It is the perfect balance of work and fun (the work was half the fun). Super cozy accommodation and an abundance of food!

Overall I had a great time here! I was in a group of 6 other amazing, funny, kind and helpful volunteers which meant I had so much fun with them on our days off and whilst working too. I learnt new practical skills like how to use an angle grinder and how to operate a speedboat and our host Sam was always supportive and has the best stories! The accommodation was really nice and cozy and I'll definitely miss jumping into the water everyday. I was unsure about doing this initially but in hindsight I'm so glad I did 😊

Have passed these days at the boat really nourished my soul, in more than one aspect. I would say that to experience the boat is experiencing a retreat with yourself and immerse yourself in adventures and challenges. Sam is a very welcomed person and the boat is a place where you can develop your skills and also add with your creativity, knowledge and opinions. Is a place to show vulnerability and grow as a person. If you are open to truly connect with people and live a off-grid experience don't think to much and experience the boat❤️
