I would recommend anyone to volunteer at the project. It is a truly life-changing experience, that will help you get to know a very different side of Ecuador than you would when simply visiting as a tourist. While exploring Ecuador's beautiful volcanoes, mountains and local culture, you also get the chance to really contribute and get to know the communities that the project works with at the coast and/or in the Amazon. The work is very varied, and the working schedule is very flexible, as long as you communicate well :)). Lastly you'll get to live in Quito, which I would recommend to anyone!

My experience with the project was incredible. Edison is a very good human being, with a big heart and good communication skills. The work was clear. I extended my volunteering due to this great experience. I was in love with the kids and people from the community. Give thanks!

I absolutely love to work in the project team, even extended my staying because I truly believe that what they are doing as foundation is having a huge impact on some communities. I am in love with the Amazon community and the coast one. Edison is flexible, very knowledgeable person, caring and has a good heart.

Volunteering with the project Foundation is a fantastic way to see Ecuador, meet locals, and create a real meaningful impact on the communities we work with! Edison has been a wonderful host, making me feel welcome and appreciated the whole time. The experience is very flexible and allows a lot of choice and conversation to help find what you can bring to the team. From working with chocolate tours, to more of the admin and project management sides, to exploring Ecuador with the tour company- it's a bit of everything. Thanks Edison!

Absolutely amazing! Edison goes above and beyond to make you feel truly at home. the project offers a unique and meaningful opportunity to connect with and contribute to communities across Ecuador. The volunteer experience is super flexible — we had a lot of autonomy to shape our roles based on our interests and strengths, which made the work even more fulfilling. So grateful for the experience — I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to meet incredible people, explore beautiful places, and be part of something bigger than themselves!

Mi experiencia en el proyeto fue agridulce debido a la situación social y política actual del país; lamentablemente, no es culpa de nadie. Por lo tanto, no tuve la oportunidad de visitar las aldeas que apoya la organización y me quedé únicamente en Quito. Sin embargo, Edison es una persona genial que organiza con frecuencia salidas para bailar, fiestas, conciertos y eventos deportivos. Tiene un conocimiento excepcional de su cultura, lo que le permite descubrir los aspectos menos agradables del país, y habla varios idiomas, lo que facilita mucho la comunicación y el aprendizaje.

Edison and the project team welcomed me with open arms. The social media role had me joining multiple tours, taking videos and creating posts. Sometimes plans were made last minute so you need to be flexible. But overall wonderful experience

My experience at the project exceeded all my expectations. I had the opportunity to participate in a program that provides free healthcare to families in need in Río Canoa, in the Manabí region. I worked as a translator, photographer, and content creator, but most importantly, I was able to connect deeply with the local community. Meeting the incredible people here—hearing their stories and witnessing their resilience—was truly inspiring. Cheers to Edison and the team for their great commitment and for the chance they give me to contribute to such a meaningful cause.

Compartir con Edison y la fundación el proyeto fue mágico, definitivamente el compromiso que el tiene que la comunidad a la que visitamos en este viaje que fue Rio Canoa, fue impactante y conmovedor, además de la escuela de los niños en San Roque en Quito, la verdad que si buscan compartir con otra cultura e idiomas, en el proyeto podran disfrutar de viajar y ayudar a otras personas. A demás Edisson es un excelente guia turistico , te podrá compartir los mejores lugares y de manera accesible!

It might've just been bad timing, but my experience at the project wasn't the greatest. I felt like there was a huge lack of communication and I did not feel part of the team or even wanted. The host was very busy at that time (which I get happens), but I wish he would've taken some more time to get to know me better and to make me feel welcomed. This all might be totally different though when he is not as busy.
