This was my first experience with Worldpackers and it was absolutely incredible. The people who work at the hostel are so nice and made me feel at home- especially the wonderful ladies who work in cleaning and the other volunteer, who are all so kind, sweet and caring. The island itself is pretty small, but its nature and people are absolutely beautiful. However if you can't ride a bicycle, living here perhaps can be a challenging, as even walking from the hostel to the city centre takes almost 2 hours by foot. Thank you for having me as a volunteer and this experience.

This was my first experience with Worldpackers and I loved it! The hostel really felt like a home. Everyone who worked there was lovely and I was definitely looked after. I ended up just working reception, which was very chill once you got the hang of it and I learnt a lot. The island is quite small but it is beautiful and I had a great time exploring. Everyone who came to the hostel was so nice and I met so many people from all over the world! I definitely recommend this experience if you are looking for a place to relax, explore and met new people. Thank you Sofia, Solange, Ana and Fernando!

I enjoyed my stay at the hostel. That being said, if you don't want to bike 30 minutes to go to the grocery store, it may not be for you. Generally the only way to get around on this island (if you don't want to spend money) is by bike. There were also some tensions in the team. For me, it was a cleaning lady and the other volunteer that was there, that really made my stay :) I met a lot of peope, the hours were okay and the island is beautiful. Working with Sofia was a bit confusing sometimes but all in all it was a chill place for me to start volunteering.

It was really a good experience, everyone in the hostel is sociable and nice. The work is not difficult. I had a really good time both as a job and with the relationships with others working there. I felt at home and had the chance to immerse myself in nature and feel part of it. The place is wonderful! I absolutely recommend it as an experience to do.

The hostel is a really small paradise, but so full of amazing local people. First of all the work was very fair, cleaning and reception- where I learned a lot!!(I did work of season, mind that)but still: you get a nice breakfast, the showers are really nice and hot, and the vibe of the hostel in general is really cozy (the kitchen equipment was amazing!) Sofia is a really good and professional boss, I also met her holiday substitute Celine who was an absolute sweetheart. Yes, the cleaning ladies don't speak english but Solage, who I worked with, always took the time to explain everything.
