This is my first solo travel and first volunteering with Worldpackers. Michael is an awesome guy! From the moment I saw him to the day I left, he was always caring and a funny guy, that's for sure. I had a meaningful and grounding stay at this eco farm, surrounded by nature and sustainable living. A minor miscommunication arose, but it was quickly and kindly resolved. Though it was just Kathy and me, we made it a story worth telling. Planting seeds and knowing they'll grow into trees one day was a beautiful experience. I can't wait to see what grows from it all.

The farm is a beautiful farm in the mountains. A place to connect with nature, to relax, to disconnect from the city stress, to form consciousness, to spent time with the animals. I really enjoyed staying there and learning about planting and seeing how Michaels projects turn into reality . The farm has a huge fruits, vegetable and medicinal plants garden. If you're staying in the right time you can take advantage of harvesting what's planted. Michael is a really nice guy, very chill, conscious, has a lot of knowledge and passionate about his farm and projects.

Our time was great! We had lots of fun, met other travelers from around the world and the nature is just stunning! We learned a lot at our time here. Definitely recommend!

Our experience with Michael was absolutely incredible. In the short time we had at the farm, we were able to learn a ton of things, about the day to day, and long term running of the farm, as well as share our own knowledge to help the future if the farm. I also feel I made life long friends in the time we spent there. I wish we had been there longer, and I can't wait to visit again!

We helped with finishing construction on a cabin. The beauty and the way Micheal runs the farm is truly amazing! I learned a lot about Sustainable living. Very magical place to be!

I did my first volunteer placement on Michael's farm and it was an incredible experience. I've learnt a lot about gardening and growing medicinal plants. The work is intense and we're lucky enough to see the results quickly. The landscape is amazing, in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by greenery. Michael is available, always smiling and spiritually uplifted. What's more, the dogs and cats are adorable. I felt like at home, thank you Michael 🍀

It was a great and meaningfull experience. The farm is located in the middle of the mountains away from all the stress. It was a retreat where you get to learn a lot about nature and organic farming. You also get to reconnect and learn more about yourself. While I was staying at the farm I learned a lot about the costarican culture and the country itself by meeting locals, talking with the host Michael and by getting to know the costarican kitchen. Michael is a open minded person who makes you feel right away at home. He provides everything you need. I would definetly come back :)

It has been an unforgettable and incredible experience. It is a heavenly place in the mountains which offers a disconnection in nature and a simple and ecological life. Michael is a charming person with whom you will learn new things and he will make you feel comfortable and welcome.

Desde qué llegue me sentí muy bienvenida, the project es un lugar precioso que se nota que ha sido creado con mucho amor y dedicación. Fue una experiencia muy única, la finca tiene un horario de trabajo bien definido, se respetan las horas y espacio de cada uno, algunas tareas de campo requieren esfuerzo pero es gratificante aprender a través de la práctica y cuidado con la tierra. Muchas gracias Michael y los demás voluntarios, por sus valiosas enseñanzas y buena energia. Para mí fue una gran satisfacción poder colaborar en este lindo proyecto en las montañas. Pura vida!

I had an amazing experience at the project. It's a really relaxing, beautiful place up in the mountains. Working on the farm was very interesting and rewarding, and I learnt a lot about organic farming. Michael was a great host and makes everyone feel at home right away.
