Fue una experiencia genial, aprender a vivir en l jungla con pocas comodidades, te hace ver lo afortunado que eres, en la mañana trabajas, en la tarde descansas, puedes hacer tubing e ir al río o puedes acostarte en una red en medio de los árboles, sin duda un gran experiencia. Súper necesario y recomendable pantalones para reducir las picaduras de mosquito que pueden ser demasiado, pero todo es parte de la experiencia, Gracias a Daan por permitirme vivir esta experiencia

I really had an amazing time at thethethethe hostel. Even tough Daan was gone almost the whole time there were many great things to do and I got to learn some new things, get to know new people and just enjoy the nature. The vibe is very relaxed and you feel like in a family. Thank you Daan and Jair for that great time <3

Staying in the hostelwas definately an experience. It's in the middle of thethethethe hostel, so you need to be prepared for that. But it's a great place to get in touch with nature and get away from the fast world we're living in. The projects Daan is working on are pretty cool and will make the place even more interesting.

The hostelis an amazing place to reconnect with nature, meet travelers from all over the world, learn about thethe the hosteland sustainable life and eat amazing food. Daan is a great guy with a lot of fun ideas to keep improving the place. The work is chill and fun, and the afternoons are your free time to explore, swim, play games or enjoy the environment. A truly unique experience that i would recommend to anyone!

Es un espacio verdaderamente mágico, perfecto para desconectar del ruido de las ciudades y disfrutar de la naturaleza salvaje, así como conocer a bellas personas también con quienes compartir buenos momentos. Se trabajan unas pocas horas por la mañana, trabajo físico pero perfectamente asumible, y luego se va alternando el turno de cocinar, cada día le toca a una persona diferente. Eso sí, se tiene que entender que, al ser un sitio autoconstruido y aislado, no hay tantas comodidades como en un el hostelde ciudad, pero también es parte de la experiencia :)

Really wildthe the hostelexperience. Familiar environment. If you're looking for an adventure, see wild animals, learn about sustainability andthe hostel-hostels, thats your place. Daan, the host, is kind and works on creating a good relationship with the volunteers, i had a misunderstanding with him about what i was supposed to do work in, but ended up happily due to his good willing to solve the problems and his honesty.

My time here was short due to medical reasons. But in that short period of time I learned alot and had so much fun. Big shoutout to Jair, it was awesome to work with you :)

Dan is a smart and dedicated host that has a clear vision of what he's building. His ideas are admirable and his soul is pure, the place is a the hostelof peace and connection with nature in the middle of the Sierra. I learned a lot from my experience at the hosteland would love to go back some day. The river by the hostelis huge and very nice to swim on. As a volunteer you are expected to cook every once in a while, so I got to learn a bunch of vegan recipes. Jair and Rodolfo, the two men that work there are very kind and helpful.

I volunteered at the hostelfor three weeks in June. It's a peaceful place deep in thethethethe hostel, surrounded by nature. Daan, the host, is thoughtful and dedicated, with great attention to detail. The atmosphere was warm and trusting from the start—everyone here shares a love for nature and sustainable living. I helped build the kitchen and a treehouse, and took turns cooking. We shared meals, played games, and relaxed by the river. I wish I could've stayed longer and hope to return one day.

Our host is very energetic with a clear values-driven and creative vision for histhe hostel project(s). Managing the efforts of the ever shifting numbers, experience and intentions of the volunteers is a challenge that he navigates deftly. There are greater needs and responsibilities than can be met by a few volunteers, so everyone has to pull their weight and be proactive. Friendships and inspiring connections form quickly the more we engage. The trick is to also manage our own downtime effectively, or time passes by far too quickly. This remote location is magical and well worth the trip.
