My name is Bill. My family and I live in Dongguan City. My wife, Anita, is running a private tuition centre. We are looking for native/fluent English speakers to join us. Our students range from children to young adults. Your task is pretty easy, you will have to read out loud some texts so the students can repeat after you. When there are no students you will help me and my two daughters to improve our English. Length of stay is negotiable.

Are you looking for a volunteer English teaching opportunity in China? Are you interested in exploring Southern China? If so, come to Dongguan.

Dongguan is located in the middle of Guangzhou (Canton) and Shenzhen. It takes only 45 minutes to Shenzhen via high-speed train. From here, you can get to Canton, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macau easily.

My name is Bill. I am a private school teacher and a businessman. My family and I live in Dongguan City. My wife, Anita, is running a private tuition centre. We are looking for native/fluent English speakers to join us. Our students range from children to young adults.

Attività e turni

Your job is to help the students improve their English, comprehensively. The task is pretty easy, you will have to read out loud some texts so the students can repeat after you. When there are no students you will help me and my two daughters to improve our English skills. You will be working around 5 to 6 hours per day. 6 days per week. Length of stay is negotiable.
If you have your own thing to do, let us know in advance. Since we have lots of interaction with children, we prefer someone healthy. In return, we will provide you:

* Two meals of Chinese food. We can also provide you vegetarian meals if you want.
* Free accommodation. Depending on the number of volunteers you will either stay in a private room in a hotel in the city or a shared appartment with the other volunteers.
* Accommodation comes with free washing machine and bathroom.
* If you are interested in learning Chinese (Mandarin), we can teach you.

Bonus: You will get the chance to experience the real Chinese life, know more about its culture, food and people.

Providing helpers a great travel experience is our main objective. To be able to share our life, we usually meet the volunteers between 8 and 9am, so it might not be very suitable for people who like to sleep late in the morning. We don't accept smokers or alcoholics. You can bring your family here. Pets are not allowed.
