Help in a chill hostel in Sun Moon Lake

I had the absolute best 3 weeks at this hostel ❤️ I was immediately welcomed by Nanou, Lena, their family, and the other volunteers. This is truly a special place. You are really taken in as one of their own and feel part of a greater community from day 1. It's super chilled, beautiful, and comfortable. I could easily volunteer here for months and never get bored. Groceries and delicious home cooked meals are provided daily, the beds are super comfortable, and the atmosphere is truly truly serene. I love this hostel and am so grateful for this experience 🫰🏼

Volunteering at the hostel is really a volunteering dream come true. Arriving at the hostel feels like being welcomed in a warm family, as well as for the volunteers as for the guests. The hosts Nanou and Lena, are such peaceful and joyous people that created a space that makes it so easy for strangers to share their stories and become friends. The tasks were simple and I liked that they were divided into shifts, which resulted in a lot of variation. I will forever cherish and feel grateful to Nanou, Lena and her family for making my first volunteering experience unforgettable.

All the reviews are accurate. These are the nicest, most inviting people I've stayed with through worldpackers. The lake is beautiful and the tasks are easy and well communicated. 100% reccomended experience thank you for having me :)

What an unforgettable experience! Thank you deeply, Nanou & Lena, for your incredible kindness and warm welcome. You went above and beyond to create a friendly, family-like atmosphere where everyone felt included. The tasks were simple, leaving lots of time to explore the area. The festivals and night markets we explored together, evenings on the rooftop where stories and laughter flowed freely, and the meals with fellow travelers and volunteers (Mandy & Cass :)) are moments I will cherish forever. I wholeheartedly recommend this magical place to anyone seeking adventures & great friendships.

To volunteer at the hostel was not only helping a team and a hostel, it was becoming part of a family who welcomes the travellers and make them feel at home. Everything was perfect in my stay: the place, the working hours, and above all, the people. Could only recommend this experience if you want to connect with people and discover amazing stories and experiences ! Will be forever grateful to Nanou, Lena & team for their warm welcome !

This was my first volunteering experience and I couldn't ask for better! It was the most amazing experience. Lena and Nanou were the best host, so caring and thoughtful. It really felt like a second home which made the experience ten times better. I got the chance to hear so many stories from guests at this social hostel and meet people from all over the world. The tasks were simple and I had plenty of time to explore the area and the neighbouring towns with the other volunteers during my two weeks there. Overall amazing experience. Would recommend to anyone who loves nature and good company!

First of all, I must say that the moment I arrived at the rooftop of the hostel, I knew I needed to be here. Soul cleansing, so beautiful and so very tranquil. The responsibilities were as stated and there was a lot of support and teamwork to complete our tasks well and in time. Our sleeping space in the hostel was also extremely cosy and comfortable. Lena & Nanou are amazing hosts (very cute too!) - thank you for everything. Clemmy, you too! I have had a wonderful experience here and thoroughly enjoyed my interactions with the team and guests. I will take what I learnt with me. Love <3

I am so thankful and grateful to Nanou and Lena's hospitality and kindness over the past 3 weeks. They were very understanding and easy to talk with if there were any issues. I had such an amazing time at this very cute, social and comfortable hostel. Meeting so many other travellers, having lots of spare time to explore beautiful sun moon lake and of course the wonderful company of the hosts. If you love nature and hanging around amazing people I highly recommend this experience to you. I really hope one day to return.

THANKS SO MUCH Nanou and Lena!!! it's been an amazing time at Sun Moon Lake. After my many experiences volunteering for long Time, this has been one of the best for sure! Don't doubt joining them for a chill and immersive time into culture and nature, not forgetting some adventures on the way. No long space enough to say I would like to about the hosts. So I can just but recommend you guys to apply and hope for the best that they can accept you to have an amazing time there! tasks were so easy and always receiving help from them! They're so flexible and helpful with your days off.
