La experiencia en la ciudad de Trujillo y en el instituto la escuela fue sumamente acogedora,desde el inicio nos trataron muy amablemente y nos hicieron sentir parte de la comunidad,pudimos compartir y aprender sobre la cultura local,además de compartir también con los más pequeños del instituto. Sin duda un excelente lugar donde hacer voluntariado. Gracias Elias y todo su equipo. Sin dudas volveremos.

Our experience as a couple volunteering at the school was truly exceptional. The hosts made us feel right at home, offering us a spacious room with a private bathroom. Ana and Yaeli were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The other teachers were also very welcoming and deeply passionate about their work, creating an inspiring and friendly environment. We quickly felt part of the community and truly appreciated the warmth and kindness we received. This was a memorable and enriching experience, and we highly recommend it to others.

Everything was great at the school, the staff and students were incredibly friendly and welcoming and the experience itself was very enjoyable. Would highly recommend to those wanting to learn how to teach English and also wanting to learn Spanish. Trujillo as a city is great as well (with the best food in Peru imo), and a great base for exploring northern Peru as well. All in all a great experience.

The school Idiomas or the school Bilingual School or the school (since it doesn't know what it wants to be) lacks quite a bit of organization. I noticed a much larger focus on social media and advertising a product than the education of the students. It feels like people are just thrown into things and trying to make things work without being given the necessary tools to succeed. I taught a class where the students didn't have the necessary tools from prior classes. Ana (Anita), Tania, and Nicoll are excellent, friendly, welcoming, hardworking, and they make you feel at home.

Un voluntariado realmente enriquecedor. Estar conectado con los niños ha sido una experiencia totalmente magica para nosotros. La flexibilidad que ofrecen nos ha permitido improvisar, aportar ideas y crear nuevo contenido, siempre en un ambiente de innovacion. Esto no solo hace que sea mas divertido, sino que tambien te invita a involucrarte al maximo. Los niños, desde los mas pequeños has los juniors y teen son un verdadero encanto. Despedirse a sido sin duda, lo mas dificil.

I had so much fun volunteering at the school! I was able to explore a new city and live in such a great place! The work was so enriching and fun!!! I loved working with all the students and teachers, everyone was so kind and welcoming. Ana was absolutely AMAZING! She made the experience so wonderful. I highly recommend volunteering here! It was my first worldpackers experience and it couldn't have been any better!

Ha sido mi prime me voluntariado y la experiencia fue genial. Las tareas a realizar eran sencillas y me dió la oportunidad de practicar mi inglés con los demás voluntarios y profesoras de la academia. Gracias a Ana pude descubrir todo acerca de Trujillo y sus alrededores, desde el primer día hizo que me sintiera como en casa, sin duda me llevo una amiga! :) Y Elías siempre estuvo atento a qué la estancia fuese lo más cómoda posible y además me brindó mucha flexibilidad para poder organizar mi viaje. Sin duda una grata experiencia!

I had such an amazing experience at the BLI! It was my first worldpackers experience and I couldn't have asked for anything more. The work was simple and well instructed and the children and teachers were so kind and welcoming.Ana was an angel and created such a great community at the duplex, we all really felt like a family. Her and Felix would show us around and I learned so much about Peru and its culture through them. I would recommend the BLI to everyone as it was a great learning experience but also a blast!!

Loved this opportunity so much!! so so thankful for Ana, she made this place feel like home, never failed to make us laugh, super helpful with places to see and learning spanish! the food was great! many improvements with the accommodation came during our stay which was nice! being at the school was super rewarding, the kids are great, and the staff is super nice! 🫶🏼definitely recommend this!
