Where do I begin? I have volunteered 8 times on Worldpackers and have never worked with a more loving, understanding and caring host. Nestled in the French mountainside of a small town of 244 people, this experience will definitely help you connect with nature. The tasks were fair and enjoyable to do. Kai builds such a healthy working environment, making any task super enjoyable. His patience and care are especially helpful. I cannot recommend this experience enough! 🌟 The Steuns have become my family away from home. Dankie Angela, Kai, Daan and Pippa, see you soon ❤️

We felt very welcomed by Angela and her family. The 2 kids are adorable, and Kay has a lot of humor. The tasks depend on in which season you visit the guest house, but we had enough free time and enjoyed ourselves very much. We planned our tasks beforehand with Angela, and around that they were very flexible as we could dateren when we would do the tasks. We thank the whole family for our nice stay, and wish to visit sometime again. Groetjes aan jullie allemaal xx

Kay and Angela are a hard working couple on many different fronts. From construction and managing a business to cooking meals for their guests and taking care of their children. I immediately felt at home and after a month of staying here, things haven't changed in the slightest. They have two young kids and if you like a bit of healthy chaos, then you should really go for it. I went on a couple really nice hikes and got to see the amazing scenery this place has to offer.

I absolutely loved staying at the guest house home. It was like being at home far from home🤍 Angela and Kay was so sweet hosts and theirs children were the sweetest. I had my own cozy room and met another volunteer, which was so great! The work wasn't so hard and I was actually enjoying the painting and taking care of the kids. Angela took us on several trips to nearby towns and also to the sea. I had wonderful experiences my whole stay there and I would really love to go back there someday🥰 Thank you for everything!

I spent a week with Kay, Angela, and the two children, and it was amazing! From the first day I arrived, they made me feel like I was part of the family. I had to do some jobs, such as working in the garden, entertaining the kids, or helping Angela with household tasks. Also, the food is really good. Tip: If you have the chance to taste Angela's homemade lasagna or her chai tea, please take the opportunity! You will not regret it. ;)The environment where you will live is incredibly beautiful and peaceful. Thank you Kay and Ang, for being so open and for having me! Lots of love, Yana
