It was just an amazing time at the hostel! Chris and Sil, the managers, are fantastic people, always looking after you and helping to make you live your best time. The work is super fair and the shift at reception is never too hard. You can have a lot of free time to enjoy Bacalar, a magic place with artistic and chilling vibes, and you'll have the chance to connect with the other volunteers creating a family abroad! I can just completely recomend this place! A big hug guys, wish you the best and see you next time!

De los voluntariados que he hecho hasta ahora: el mejor! Sil y Christian son increíbles! En todo momento te hacen sentir como en casa, pues son súper atentos y buen rollo. Incluso hicieron actividades conjuntas para hacer grupo. El ambiente laboral es genial, la comunicación es continua. Tienes bici para moverte, desayuno, descuentos en excursiones, y posibilidad de comisionar vendiéndolas. Inmejorable experiencia! Gracias por todo, equipo 💛

I recommend this experience to every solo traveler. Staying at the hostel and working at the hostel was an amazing experience! Special thanks to Silvana and Cristian for hosting and arranging everything. We agreed on working 3 days of 8 hours shifts. This means I had 4 days to relax and enjoy Bacalar! I had the opportunity to practice my Spanish which I am greatfull for. Whenever I needed help the team was ready to support. Gracias Bacalar pueblo magico

Christian y Silvana son geniales! Ha sido una experiencia muy enriquecedora, conocí un poco más profundamente el pueblo mágico de bacalar, hice muy buenos amigos y aprendí un nuevo trabajo. Anfitriones dispuestos a ayudarte siempre, creando un buen ambiente laboral y divertido.

The hostel es un Lugar tranquilo, donde puedes conectarte con tu yo Espiritual. Son muy atentos y te ayudan si tienes alguna duda. Aprendes de los demás todos los días, y siempre te sugieren actividades distintas. Sus horarios son muy flexibles, puedes tener libertad y organizar días para ti sin preocupaciones. Sus instalaciones son nuevas, por lo tanto es lugar limpio y cómodo.

Wooooow! Me llevo en mi corazón Bacalar gracias a la bonita experiencia y trato que pude haber recibido en el hostel gracias a los anfitriones; Cristian, Yami y Sil; todo el equipo del staff está siempre en todo momento apoyándote, los horarios son accesibles y además tienes el paraíso y buena vibra todo incluido en este voluntariado; ame formar parte de la recepción, de verdad no se olviden de mi por qué les juro que regresare chicos!! I really enjoyed volunteering the hostel - there are a few other volunteers and it feels really nice to immerse yourself in one place after moving around a lot while travelling. I worked in reception and we agreed on 3x 8 hour shifts a week which means you get 4 days off a week to enjoy Bacalar. There is a very welcoming and social team, and I hope to come back next time I visit Bacalar!

Mi experiencia en el Hostel fue muy buena, Christian y Sil son excelentes anfitriones, muy amables y cálidos, respetan completamente los horarios y lo acordado desde el principio. Estar en recepción es muy sencillo y como solamente son 3 días a la semana los turnos, te da mucho tiempo para conocer Bacalar y lugares cercanos. Todo el equipo de trabajo tambien es muy amable, me voy contento de este voluntariado, lo recomiendo al 100%
