My stay at the guest house was great! Everyone that I met was very kind and helpful. Yaz and his family are very welcoming and sweet people. Joanna and Pauline are incredible too and helped a lot! I always knew that if I need or have trouble with something, I can always approach someone and never felt alone. It was wonderful to see how many ideas Yaz has and how much he tries to create a great experience for both volunteers and guests. The place is beautiful, surrounded by nature but not too far away from the city center. Would definitely recommend! :)

It was my first volunteering experience and I fell in love with it! The place is stunning, full of nature and very comfortable. The family is very welcoming, Yaz's daughters are so polite and Nice (Maya is very mature and Miriam is super funny and dear, we had a great time singing Disney songs together!) Yaz is very funny and cares a lot about us, always trying to make the experience even better. Joanna & Pauline are just amazing, they are always there for you, are super understanding and lovely. I could go on saying lots of other things about how amazing it is, I'm going to miss this so much!

The guest house is a really special place, peaceful and surrounded by nature. The volunteers space is super comfortable, well-equipped, and has everything we need. Groceries are always provided based on what we ask for. Yaz and his family are incredibly kind, generous and welcoming. From day one, I felt at home. The work is well-structured and flexible. The host is always thinking of ways to improve the volunteer experience and genuinely cares about making it great for everyone. I had a lovely time here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a calm and meaningful experience.

This experience was truly amazing. Thanks to the wonderful people I got to meet, the great accommodation, and the provided groceries, my two months flew by. The hours were flexible, and if a trip was planned, asking for a few days off in a row was no problem. In addition to housekeeping, we also learned how to temper chocolate—an interesting and valuable skill to acquire. All in all, I can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for an extraordinary volunteer opportunity. I am looking forward to returning in the future. Thank you!

I had the most amazing time at the guest house! Yaz, his family, and everyone I worked with were so welcoming, supportive and generous. They truly made me feel like part of the team and I loved that I could bring my personal skills (yoga teaching) into the experience. The space is cozy, comfortable and really well-equipped. The stunning location, inviting atmosphere, along with the chance to explore Oxford and London during my time off, made it even better. Over all, it was such an unforgettable experience and I'm beyond grateful for the opportunity to be a part of it!

I had a wonderful time at the guest house! The work hours are clearly organized and respected. Besides the cleaning you also do lots of other activities like chocolate making, which is a nice change from time to time. Joanna and Pauline, the cleaning staff, are very sweet and helpful, giving guidance if needed and making sure the volunteers feel comfortable to ask questions. Yaz is very kind and attentive to the volunteers needs, ensuring everyone feels at home and that each volunteer has a good experience. I can definitely recommend volunteering here!

Oxford was lovely, a lot history and nature. Very easy access to the city center. the guest house was a magical experience connected with nature and sustainability, the host always try to produce new things from his lands like honey and now chocolate, which means you are not only helping with cleaning but also having fun learning how to make chocolate while you can enjoy the nature e the facilities, it's a very relaxing environment. Yaz and family was very welcoming and friendly, also the work lady's (Joana and Pauline, they're amazing). The private room was very comfy too.

A heartwarming experience! The family's generosity creates a welcoming atmosphere with weekly family dinners, and Yaz's weekend visits bring great conversation and fun activity ideas for everyone. Talking and joking with the family made it even more special. During the week, personal initiative is key, with independence to manage tasks. Cleaning standards are high, with clear guidance provided. Pauline and Joana are kind and helpful. I primarily worked with Isabella and Ariel, who were wonderful and supportive! Thanks for the lovely memories!

My experience volunteering at the guest house was amazing! Yaz is super generous and attentive, always making sure the volunteers have everything we need. Also, he always comes up with fun activities for us to do and learn from. The whole family is very welcoming making the volunteers feel part of the family. The working hours are clear and respected, so there's plenty of free time to explore the area. The cleaners, Joanna and Pauline, are super kind and patient, always helping and guiding the volunteers with the cleaning tasks. I recommend this experience 100% and would definitely come back!

I loved this experience, it was really peaceful and magical, it was nothing like the rest of places I had been before. The owners were lovely and really generous, i felt really welcomed and had a lot of fun with the family dinners and the activities that we did together. The cleaning ladies were attentive with everything we needed, they tought me a lot and explained patiently and each time we had a question they were there to answer. The hours of work were well respected and it was easy to carry out. I definitely recommend volunteering here!
