Si buscas un lugar para conectar verdaderamente con la tierra y con tu persona, esta es una opción extraordinaria, no hubo día en el que no aprendiera algo nuevo, ni uno en el que las sonrisas no se me escaparan a cada segundo, cada integrante de la familia es fantástico a su propia manera, y lo más lindo es que todas y todos están siempre en disposición para compartir, enseñar y hablar, se aprende mucho de permacultura, pero increíblemente se aprende más acerca de las personas que te rodean ahí, ¡es una gran oportunidad, muy retadora, divertida y enriquecedora!

My stay was really nice, sometimes the work was hard but the meals were great, the facilities were quite good and I appreciate that everyone was patient with my minimal Spanish and spoke English with me. It was nice to be in a place that felt quiet and relaxed. Some of the jobs I did included planting beans and cucumbers, composting, yard work, and cleaning (demolishing a barbecue). The whole family is very lovely and welcoming and this part of Veracruz is beautiful

I had a fantastic time volunteering with Alex and his family. They're so friendly and welcoming and make you feel at home. The work I did was always varied and enjoyable and the food that Alex and his mother cook is truly delicious! Alex knows so much about everything and I was able to learn many new things thanks to him. It's really insightful to see how the family uses eco technologies to leave minimal impact on the environment. I highly recommend this experience, if you're looking for a truly authentic Mexican experience where you're warmly welcomed and treated with respect.

3 weeks here was the best experience. Alex and his family have pure and warm hearts. Every morning I helped them make local food and had time to talk to them. Also, their cooking skills are the best. I ate a lot every day. The work was not difficult. I could get close to nature by cutting grass or harvesting crops. On weekends, I went somewhere with them to play (a waterfall, a nearby city, or hiking). I originally planned to stay for 2 weeks, but I couldn't leave, so I stayed for another week. The time with Alex is peaceful. The best experience in Mexico.

Alex y su familia son muy involucrados en sus proyectos. Esta pasión e interés que tienen por ayudar a las comunidades y limitar su impacto medioambiental es de lo más noble. El trabajo diario es muy variado y siempre está alguien para explicar cualquier proceso y contestar cualquier pregunta. Además, la casa es muy linda y cuenta con bastante espacio para todos. En los fines de semana, nos fuimos a visitar los alrededores que cuentan con paisajes bonitos. La familia cuenta con personas simpáticas, lindas que hacen que, si uno quiere, se siente parte de la familia.

I had a great time here learning and helping the family. They really look out for you and the hospitality is next to none. They put in a great amount of effort to show you how things work and are so passionate about what projects they work on. The 2 weeks I spent here were so varied and every day brought something new! Always an experience I will cherish😊

Las tecnologías que tienen son muy interesantes y la familia es muy amable!Sin embargo, deben aclarar en la descripción que requieren personas que puedan empezar sus labores temprano en las mañanas de lunes a viernes. Yo trabajo en las mañanas y empezaba tarde según sus horarios, lo que generó inconformidad por parte del centro. Además, mis labores fueron netamente de mantenimiento caminos, por lo que mi objetivo de aprender de manera practica sobre las tecnologías no se cumplió. Se espera que hagas limpieza del centro fuera de tus horarios de voluntariado, lo cual no está descrito en la app

I spent 2 weeks with this family of 6 and all of their animals!There are very endearing and have a lot of knowledge that they love to share.The place is relaxing and there are a lot of ecological techniques like dry toilets, biodigesters, phytopurifying plants and many others that are undergoing maintenance.During the week, the work last 5 hours and is very variable.Then we all have lunch together and everyone goes about their business.I had the luck to attend Maria de Dios's posada, taste lot of great Mexican food, learn to play a bit of ukulele, and go to markets on Sundays ! Thank you :)
