I had such a fun time donating my time and effort to creating a mural for the organization Cambodia. The organization is truly inspiring and I learned so much from volunteering here. The accommodation was very basic, as mentioned, but I will say that mural painting was a little challenging in the conditions. It was very hot, na/C, and the food is all traditional Cambodian, but if you can tough it out, there is plenty of wall space and opportunity to let your creativity flow.

Working with the organization was a fascinating experience. Peter does an excellent job of providing volunteers with meaningful work, contributing to the organisation's functioning. It is a privilege to be invited into the school's daily life, from meals to prayers in the evening. The school is well positioned to explore Phnom Penh at the weekends and the surrounding area is great fun to wonder around (especially the magnificent views of the Mekong at sunrise or sunset!)

I volunteered with the organization for one month, assisting with graphic design and enhancing their online presence. The work was fulfilling, and I learned a lot while contributing to their mission. Thank you everyone at the organization in Phnom Penh, I had an amazing time painting and living with you all. This was my first time (ever) painting a mural, and I felt supported the whole time through the process. It was easy to get into a healthy routine because the school has morning/evening prayers and 3 meals a day. There is also a small cafe at the school with good snacks and drinks. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who enjoys painting and wants to be involved in a project that is making a difference. Thank you again the organization!

Sadly, I did only 1 week in the center of kandal province because we didn't have many student (only 3 that we could teach with the manager) and I didn't feel like I was helping the team or the association, so I left. But the team and the accommodation are nice, and with more student, I think this could be a great volunteering experience.

The school provides strong educational support, with volunteers from around the globe teaching various classes. The full-time students are welcoming and foster a friendly atmosphere. Classes are held from 7 am to 7 pm with breaks in between, offering flexibility for volunteers. On the downside, hygiene is quite minimal. It's best to bring your own soap, and there were issues with rats in our room. The meals are simple, so bringing snacks and a mosquito net is recommended. While the experience is rewarding, be ready for basic living conditions.

Classes run from 7 am to 7 pm with breaks, allowing volunteers to pace themselves. However, hygiene is basic. Bring your own soap. We also had rat issues in our room, despite efforts to repel them. The food is basic, so bring snacks, and you'll need a mosquito net. Overall, the experience is valuable, but be prepared for hygiene and accommodation challenges.

The Host & his Team were great and very accommodating for my dietary needs! The overall experience was delightful! It was great meeting fellow travelers and new people, and making new friends. I got a great feel of the local experience, which was one of my main goals. Cambodia is a wonderful place, and having a unique volunteer opportunity like this made the overall experience much more enjoyable! Thanks a lot!

I initially signed up to volunteer with the organization for three weeks but ended up extending my stay for two more. The team is incredibly welcoming, and I was fortunate to have a great group of fellow volunteers working alongside me. The accommodation and food were exactly as described—basic and a bit of a lifestyle adjustment if you're used to Western comforts, but completely manageable with an open mind. Overall, it's a fantastic experience that I believe will look great on a CV. I highly recommend it to anyone who is genuinely interested in volunteering and making a meaningful contribution to an NGO

I'm Jorge, I was a volunteer at the Kampot school with my friend Cesar. It was an incredible and rewarding experience. The way the people treated us was excellent and both Bopha and Mony were wonderful hosts. In the mornings we did some physical help at school and in the afternoons we gave computer and English classes to different ages. The experience was one of the best of my life, I thank the organization for having given me this amazing opportunity
