I tried my best to adapt to this experience, but many basic amenities were missing. There was no sink, and I was unable to rest properly. The accommodation and the overall condition of the house did not provide a livable environment. The classes were also poorly organized, and I witnessed teachers shouting at and even physically kicking students, which I found deeply troubling and unacceptable. Furthermore, the host asked me to leave because of issues related to my gender, which made me feel discriminated against and unsafe. For these reasons, I cannot recommend this experience.

Volunteering here was a great experience. The work is easy and the schedule is light, you only work a few hours a day. That said, teaching the kids can be intense because they're so energetic, but it's also a lot of fun and very rewarding. The host is extremely kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. One thing that could be improved is the accommodation, but overall it's a positive and enjoyable experience.

My volunteering experience with Rosie was overall good. The whole family is lovely and welcoming, and she's a good cook! The job will be mainly about very young kids (sometimes even too young!) and, although they'll be very friendly and funny, it can get kinda repetitive. Also the working hours are very well respected, even fewer than what announced, but sometimes you'll know about your shift only the day before. Anyway, I was treated very well, and if I'll come back to Vietnam one day, I hope to visit them!
