Emine's farm is a great place for some balance of hard work, learning new skills and rest. The days are well scheduled for having no rush, putting some solid hours of hard work and having plenty of free time. The meals are delicious and abundant! The jobs are rewarding and it changed depending what the farm needs in the moment. I enjoyed my stay and recommend this place. Thank you Emine.

We ended up extending a couple of days as we enjoyed it that much. Emine is a funny, intelligent, wonderful person. We had so many interesting conversations around the table at meal time- actually it was one of the highlights of each day. The food is absolutely amazing! We enjoyed the tasks around the farm as there are a variety… be prepared to get your hands dirty! Some days walking the dogs is part of the working day as well. Good options to spend your days off. Bedrooms were lovely and clean. Our first world packers experience has set the bar high! Thank you so much Emine.

Emine offers fair and reasonable hours on a regular schedule. She provides comfortable accommodation facilties and cooks delicious healthy food with generous portions. She shares her interesting perspectives about Turkish culture and everything else over mealtimes. The type of work is very reasonable - I did planting, harvesting and weeding. Unfortunately, when I asked questions about the farm or tried to clarify things, I felt the host responded impatiently to me or sometimes didn't answer me at all. I learn best by asking so I'm a little sensitive to that, be aware if you are too!

Grace, you worked well but volunteering is not only about working. You stay/live in someone’s home at the same time.Having a brain that works differently from the average or if you are neurodivergent, you should say it before coming!Your profile was too much polished (you've updated some things now). Your reactions to unexpected situations were too much and your stress level with the unpredictable things was tiring. It wasn't enough to answer your questions, you were asking over and over again.

You didnt made it clear before confirming the volunteer position. Go back and look to the messages please, “If you are writing without any help, your english is very ok. No worries, we work with alive things (animals, plants), so English is importatnt to understand the tasks correct.” I said, and you answered as “ok.” You should have been honest and stated that you wrote it with help. And now, you don't even try to write comments in English...

My 2 week stay has been quite nice. The work was easy and the working hours were respected. The accommodation and food are a dream and the dogs and cats are adorable. You walk the dogs every day (in your working hours) which is really nice and calming. The dogs are quite strong tho, so be prepared to get some muscles 😂

I spend two weeks on Emine's farm and it was absolutely amazing. The work was well explained and the hours were always respected. The work was sometimes a bit exhausting, but I didn't mind that, especially knowing that Emine's delicious and traditional home cooking was waiting for me afterwards. I would spend a lot of the work hours walking the dogs, which was an absolute treat. On my days off, Emine was very helpful with arranging a trip to one of the nearby cities. I really recommend this experience and I already miss Emine, the other volunteers and of course all the cats and dogs

Our first volunteering experience with Emine set a high standard. She communicated expectations clearly, was very hospitable, and shared delicious traditional dishes and stories about Turkish history and culture. Emine was equally curious about us and had a great sense of humor. We gained valuable insights into organic farming, and though the work was challenging, she balanced hours well and tailored tasks to our skill level. Her patience with our mistakes was really appreciated. We highly recommend volunteering with Emine to anyone eager to learn new skills and engage with local culture.

My week spend at the farm was a great first volunteering experience! I enjoyed the work, which was mostly helping with the olive harvest. In exchange for 5h a day you get a great private room, delicious food and adorable animals to pet! During my days off I visited a beautiful town (Alacati) and went to the beach (very close to the farm). I would recommend this experience, even though the host was not the easiest person to talk to, but maybe that was just the case with me.

I spent one month at Emine's farm and could have easily spent 2! I absolutely loved my time here and I learnt a lot from Emine about farming, local life and turkish food (so yum). Emine cares a lot for people and animals. I loved walking and cuddling the dogs and afternoons spent at the beach! Working in the fields was satisfying and rewarding and the hours are always very well respected and communicated. Emine is so knowledgeable about things to do around the area so make sure to take advantage of this, she is so helpful!! I will miss our meals around the table a lot!
