Enjoy Hokkaido mountain life at our hotel!

I spent the loveliest 3 weeks in the cosy space of K House Hokkaido during the fall season! The full time staff were welcoming, friendly, clear with their instructions and hours were well respected. With only 4h of work a day and 2 days off a week, I had plenty of time to explore the surrounding nature and Mt Asahidake. If you love being in nature and enjoy a lot of quiet, solo time, this would be the perfect place for you. As I was the only volunteer there during that time, I got my own room that came with a toilet. I also got to use the hotel every day, a rly therapeutic experience!

Staying at the hotel was a wonderful experience. The hotel is located in a peaceful location, surrounded by nature. The facilities are very cozy, and you can use the hotel, which is beautiful. The tasks weren't difficult, and time was respected. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a great place to relax. The only downside is that it's in a relatively remote location, with no supermarkets or convenience stores nearby, and a limited number of buses per day. However, they make this very clear before you agree to volunteer there.

I had the greatest time in Asahidake the hotel. Everybody is super nice and welcoming. I was properly introduced in my tasks and learned a lot about the way the hotel is run. The work times where fair and I was always able to finish in time. Also the food support is a great help and Inwaas even drivem to Higashikawa once to get groceries. There is a great the hotel in the hotel and the landscape is amazing. I never felt bored during the month here because there is a lot to explore. I can only recommend to come here and experience nice people, wonderfull nature and amazing culture.

Volunteering at the hotel was exactly what I needed! Being surrounded by mountains and the snow, in a beautiful and calm place, with a super nice team! Mizue-san and Masa-san are kind and helpful, clear in their directions. The cleaning tasks are straightforward and the work hours are always respected. And being able to be in the warm the hotel while it's snowing is a magical experience!

Ambiente muy grato, buenos anfitriones y compañeros de trabajo agradables, todos dispuestos a ayudarte y que puedas estar tranquilo y hacer bien tus tareas diarias. El trabajo no es nada muy complicado si le pones empeño en aprender.

Los anfitriones fueron super amables y nos recibieron con los brazos abiertos, muy atentos a las necesidades y flexibles en horarios. El ambiente dentro del Hotel es muy grato, se trabaja realmente las 4 horas diarias y se respeta hora de salida sin importar nada, las tareas a realizar son fáciles de entender y las explican muy bien. El ambiente fuera del lugar es precioso y hay mucho que ver si te gusta la naturaleza. Todo el staff tiene muy buena disposición para que realmente puedas entender lo que te dicen ya que la comunicación es casi 100% en inglés (si es que no hablas japonés)

Really good hôtel away from the rest of the world. The team was very nice, the tasks asked were very straightforward and reasonable. The manager was really helpful, he drove me to the supermarket several times and the day I left he drove me to the airport. The environment is very quiet and so beautiful. For me it was a really good month to rest and prepare the rest of my journey. I had a private room and access to the hotel every day. Thank you

I had a great time at the hotel Hokkaido. The whole team was very welcoming and always available and flexible if I needed anything. The work isn't difficult and the working hours are always respected. The establishment is very comfortable, having your own room and being able to got to the hotel was just amazing ! It's also the perfect place to meet people and to hike in the mountains. You just need to plan enough food before coming because the supermarket is far from the establishment. I really recommend this place if you like nature and quiet places.

We had great time at the hotel Hokkaido. The team was very nice, friendly and easy going. The job was not hard at all, and we knew exactly what to do. We had a lot of free time, played ping pong, enjoyed the hotel, explored the outdoors … the hotel is perfectly located in the middle of the mountain, just in front of Mont Asahidake. It's amazing being away from the city for a while (but you have to be organized with the groceries !) Thanks to everyone for the private Japanese huge room, the warm welcome, for the time and dinner together !
