One of my favorite places after 8 months of traveling! I stayed at the farm for 1 month and from the very first day I felt so welcomed by Elena, Marino, Toni, Karolina and Mario. The work is quit a lot but so nice cause you're working with the horses all day long (honestly it doesn't even feel like work most of the time) And we had a LOT of opportunities to ride with the horses which was so much fun! I loved the trust everyone gave us and how we were really treated like part of the family, they put a lot of effort into giving us the best experience possible, which it def. was!! See you <3

I am most grateful that I could volunteer on the farm! The whole family kindly takes you in as one of them and they really care about you and that you have the best time there in Istria and on the farm, which I most definitely had! Not just the daily work and rides with the horses were really fun, also just spending time with them and playing games made this experience unforgettable for me. I'm so grateful and happy I could volunteer at the farm. Elena and her family are the best!! Everyone is so kind, welcoming and fun. The work was also fun, especially with Lily:). The nature at the farm is magical and it was great exploring it with the dogs and horses. This experience was fantastic and I highly recommend it .

Home away from home : this is how I would describe the farm. As soon as I arrived, I knew that I was not going to just have a simple volunteer experience. Elena, Marino and Toni were not only my hosts, they welcomed me like family. (And I can assure you that horses, dogs and cats did the same. 🥰) By their side, I took part in typical daily life on a the farm, but I also had the chance to experience much more than that : game evenings with friends, dinners together by the fire and discovering the culture of the Istria region. So, to you the farm Family & Lina : Hvala ❤️

This was my first experience here on Worldpackers, and I can only say that it was amazing! Every expectation I had was meet and so much more. Everything from the work itself and accommodation was so good. I mostly worked in the stable and helped with the tours, but when I needed a break was there always something else to do like painting for example, it was a nice way to split the work and do something else everyday! Elena, Toni and Marino are so welcoming (as well as the rest of the family/friends). You feel at home from the first day. Honesty i have nothing bad to say at all.

Just one word to describe my stay: Gratitude Elena, Marino and Toni are extremely accessible, fun people, always ready to help and for me, most important of all, they trusted us completely. From the beginning I felt at home, the facilities are comfortable, the view of the farm looks like it was taken from a fantasy film. All the horses are beautiful and very well trained, they are treated with love and live completely free and happy on the huge plains that the farm has for them. It's an excellent experience for any volunteer, I'm deeply grateful that it was my first adventure! Thank you!

I had an amazing time at the farm - Elena, Toni, and their family were all so warm and welcoming, making sure I felt at home and comfortable at all times. The work was rewarding and primarily physical labour. I liked the routine and the flexibility embedded into it - Elena and Toni were very clear about what tasks needed to be completed and their priority, while including me in experiences that helped me develop my own skills, including training the younger horses and taking tours. The work was slightly more than the 32 hours but never felt like too much. A truly family-centred experience

Hands down one of the best experiences I have ever had. the farm is gorgeous, with beautiful people, animals, and scenery. The hosts are so lovely and friendly and make you feel right at home. The bedrooms are comfortable with heaps of space! The work is (almost) always fun and it's so great getting to work outside every day. All of the animals are so fun to be around and you'll fall in love with the cats, dogs and horses. If you get the opportunity to work here, jump at it!

My time at the farm was definitely positive. I learned a lot and am glad I worked there. The horses have unbelievably large pastures and receive great food, so they look healthy and strong. You work with horses daily, can train young ones and enjoy fun rides. I appreciate the trust Elena placed in us on that front. Although I faced some challenges, they showed me that I can always talk to them, and they genuinely aimed to improve my experience. Thank you for the wonderful time! ❤️

Volunteering at the farm was a meaningful experience for my boyfriend and me. You'll work with Elena and her brother Toni, they are both very nice and will be like friends to you (as the whole family and the cats, dogs and of course the horses:) The Work was a bit more than 32h but it's chill because they are flexible and adapt to you. Also, sometimes you can have your own work projects and can be creative, realise your own ideas. There is some work that has to be done of course, but that's also nice because they can teach you many things (for ex how to use machines like the chainsaw…)
