Sencillamente Gracias zauro por una de las experiencias mas lindas de mi vida. Con el pasar de los dias llegue a una conclusión de que Arequipa es un paraíso; su clima, su geolocalización, sus calles limpias y seguras su cultura sin embargo algo de lo que hace unico a este lugar es su gente su respeto realmente te hacen sentir un inca con el paso de los dias .adicional conocerás muchos locales tambien extranjeros puedes practicar idiomas viajar en fin puedes disfrutar al máximo súper recomendado y siempre en mi corazón mandala santa cata y lau y gio hermanos queridos volveré

Fue una experiencia increíble. Desde el primer día, me recibieron con mucha amabilidad, creando un ambiente cálido y acogedor. 💛 El lugar es mágico, con una vista impresionante de la ciudad y los volcanes, perfecto para disfrutar de un buen café o cacao mientras conectas con personas maravillosas.

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I couldn't ask for anything better. Sauro, Elmer, and the entire the Center staff were so welcoming, helpful, and on board with any video/picture content I wanted to execute. Sauro was the absolute best and was so eager to share his corner of Peru with me. The work was exactly as written, accommodation was clean, and I still had plenty of time to explore Arequipa. I would recommend this experience 10 times over!

Tuve una experiencia muy positiva. Sauro es una persona muy amable y acogedora, que facilita la integración y hace que uno se sienta a gusto. El trabajo varía bastante según la temporada y las necesidades del momento. En general, el horario es flexible y Sauro está siempre dispuesto a escuchar propuestas y considerar las preferencias de cada uno. Y el chocolate está buenísimo!!

Sauro is an amazing host, he really cares about you and shows you around, takes you to cool places etc. However the bar work is quite dull and dirty (very different from the café). I 100% recommend Sauro and MiKcao - but not the bar…

He disfrutado mucho mi experiencia en el café. El lugar es precioso, los compañeros muy amables y el trabajo agradable. Sauro ha sido muy flexible y hemos podido ajustar sin problemas las necesidades del café a mis preferencias y habilidades. Totalmente recomendable!

Sauro es un anfitrión increíble, me sentí super cómoda en mi estadía en arequipa. Trabajar con el fue muy divertido y cómodo. Además me acompaño y mostró toda la maravilla gastronómica del lugar. Sabe muchísimo de lo que hace y le super apasion, fui realmente muy feliz

I stayed one week in Arequipa and overall I would say it was fun. The team is nice and the Café has a perfect location in the city center. The working hours were totally fair and I've learned a lot about working in gastronomy. But I would definitely recommend to speak at least Intermediate Spanish, during work and with the staff you have to talk in Spanish. Often we had a lot of costumers at the same time and I'm glad that I could helped the team :)

The café is a nice place and the people there are friendly! The accommodation is at a nearby hostel next to the Plaza de Armas which was a great location. In general, it is a good place to volunteer but I feel like the communication about the tasks/expectations could be better as I felt lost at first - however, it got better and I managed to figure things out. It was fun creating content for Instagram :)

I spent one and a half months with Sauro and the team of mi.the host. What I probably liked best was that the café is a meeting place for travellers and locals. The same applies to the hostel in which I stayed (it was rather quiet than a party hostel). Thanks to the great team at mi.the host, I very quickly felt at home in beautiful Arequipa. I started my experience with a very rustic knowledge of Spanish, but would recommend that future volunteers have an intermediate knowledge (btw, there were no professional spanish classes). Thanks for all the effort and the unforgettable experiences <3
