The experience at the organization was the best I could have asked. I loved the environment, the children are really welcoming and happy to play with you. I felt really involved in the culture, local life and the amazing project that Sophara created. I would recommend this volunteering 100%!! Can't wait to be back🤍🙏🏻

I stayed for two weeks at the organization and I can only say one thing, I should have stayed way longer! The hosts, the teachers as well as the students are all so lovely and welcoming. You instantly feel at home. I can only recommend coming here, living in the village and discovering the culture in the best way possible! Thank you so much for this experience :)

I had an amazing experience at the organization, it completely opened up my heart to ways I didn't even know it could. Getting to know not just the children but the culture is something I will always remember! I definitely recommend volunteering here. As much as I was teaching them I felt they were teaching me !! My experience at the LLCCA the organization was absolutely amazing. the hosts do the absolute most to accommodate your needs to the fullest and the food was great. it's a truly amazing experience helping the kids who are the cutest and so funny. you really get to see so much of khmer culture, and serath even gave us a couple tours around the village:) i definitely recommend this experience to anyone who likes kids. it is extremely hot during the day so be warned but overall phenomenal experience and i'm even heading back next month to help again!! Thank you so much<3

The organization was a unique and very valuable experience for me. I felt very honoured to be part of this program and really enjoyed the classes. Students and teachers are both so welcoming towards all volunteers, you will always find someone to have a chat or to giggle with. Friday assemblies are particularly fun with dancing and singing together. Keep in mind that it can get very hot and humid, no AC around the village, I was struggling with the heat, especially at night. Thank you the organization for having me!

I have spent two weeks at the organization and it truly was an amazing experience, everyone is so warm and welcoming. Sophara, Dahlin and Vito are such lovely hosts, who prepare everything you need and their food is soo good. There are 3 blocks of classes, the evening one is optional. But in the end it was so much fun to teach and to see the kids laugh and learn, so I joined all classes. The ABC classes mostly consist of repetition of the learned, steadily learning new things, singing songs and dancing. The repetition can get a bit boring tho, so your creativity is asked to come up with new ways ;)

I could not recommend this experience more highly! Our time at LLCCA has been absolutely amazing, Sarath and ChanThol are great hosts, welcoming you as part of the family immediately. The children are absolutely great and so keen to learn, always with a huge smile on their faces. (please don't worry if you don't have teaching experience, the local teachers run the lesson and you just support them!) Anyone considering this position, don't think twice! It's truly amazing and the best decision we've ever made.
