Probably my favourite experience on Worldpackers, would have stayed longer if my visa didn't run out ! 10/10 recommend the family are amazing and so welcoming and the job is so much fun ❤️

My volunteering experience here was absolutely incredible! Living with Thu and her family was a special experience. I was treated like their own and was shown so much respect. They made accommodations for my dietary preferences as a vegetarian and were mindful of my religious beliefs showed how caring and considerate they are. I had to leave due to the passing of my uncle and they were understanding and supportive during a difficult time for me. The bond formed was truly special. I had an amazing time volunteering with such an incredible family! 😊🌟

This is my best world packers experience so far and it will take a lot for anything to beat the 5 weeks I spent here! The family are amazing and within a few days I felt right at home, they made me feel part of the family. You eat breakfast when you wake up, then lunch and dinner you eat with all the family which is local food - rice veg meat but always new things to try and explore with! The hostel is such a good vibe and you are required to help them improve where ever you see possible. Any new ideas Thu welcomes and will help come to light which is so nice.

I truly had an amazing time here! It was my first ever project and I couldn't been happier. We where 3 volunteers at the same time and the family that owns this hostel made us feel welcome and at home. They really integrated us in their family. The job offered us 3 meals a day, which we always had together with the family, so we got to experience the local cuisine at it's finest! The hostel is super social and it's very easy to get to know other travelers. Luang Prabang is a nice little town, not to much to do here but in my opinion the perfect place to spend a couple of weeks.
