The lodge is a very beautiful place in the nature, far away from civilization and really a place to relax and detox. It has 3 wonderful pools where you can spend your free time. The accommodation for volunteers was very cozy and comfortable. Furthermore we had a great social connection between us volunteers. You get 3 good meals a day, that are definitely filling and satisfying and always on time. Furthermore we were allowed to make all the tours, the Finca offers, for free. Nevertheless there is to be mentioned that the work is basically washing the dishes the whole work shift.

Eu estava esperando uma experiência imersiva, uma troca cultural. Estava escrito que a gente iria trabalhar na recepção, no bar e ajudar na cozinha más no fim das contas passei a maioria do tempo somente lavando louça. O lugar é muito bonito e tranquilo, no meuo da mata, mas também é dificil de ir pra cidade.

Foi uma boa experiência que tive no eco lodge. Conheci pessoas de diversos lugares do mundo e pude desenvolver uma nova habilidade de trabalho. Alguns detalhes poderiam melhorar, como a comunicação com os voluntários e as tarefas que seriam realizadas. O lugar também é bem retirado e longe de Santa Marta, então se você busca algo mais isolado será perfeito, mas se quiser algo perto da cidade esse não seria o melhor lugar. De forma geral gostei da experiência :)

Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend it. The place is amazing with a lot of good activities and the food was great. It's a little far from Santa Marta (40-50 minutes) and they could improve communication with the vols.

El lugar es tranquilo y rodeado de naturaleza. Comida deliciosa. Flexibles en horarios e intolerancias. La gente es linda y respetuosa. El trabajo es sencillo y aunque la mayor parte del tiempo es lavar vajilla también tratas con los clientes, en su mayoría no hispanohablantes. Las actividades que ofrecen son muy recomendables. Para bajar/subir al pueblo más cercano para comprar algo solo hay disponibles moto taxis que suponen unos 5€. Recomendable traer bastante efectivo. Ha sido una experiencia muy buena.Me he reído mucho, he aprendido a hacer jugos deliciosos. Gracias por estos días!!

Buena experiencia. Lugar bello y repleto de oportunidades para conectar con la naturaleza. Las cocineras preparan comida deliciosa. La cena es temprano (6 pm) y suele ser comida más liviana, por lo que si estás acostumbrada a comer más tarde, tal vez quieras traerte algún snack, ya que no hay tiendas. El trabajo es asistir en el restaurante con lavado de platos y demás, se respetaron descansos y horarios. Altamente recomendado tener al menos un nivel intermedio de español para colaborar mejor con el equipo que son geniales: siempre con la mejor energía sin importar el cansancio.

It's a beautiful place and I really enjoyed my time there. Volunteers get three meals a day and it was usually really good and filling :) (although sometimes quite repetitive) We slept in tents by the river and to be honest I was a little nervous about this at first but it turned out to be very comfortable! I would've liked a better introduction in the beginning. I felt a little bit thrown into the work and there was literally no explanations of the tasks… Overall I think the organization could improve a little bit but I still 100% recommend the experience.

I had a very chilled-out two weeks at this beautiful Finca. The views and rivers are amazing and the tent was very comfortable. The location is pretty remote but there is also a great little local bar and another volunteering spot across the river to socialise outside of the Finca. The staff are lovely I just wish there was a formal introduction to meet the co-workers. Hikes around the area are cool and the managers were very kind and flexible with my hours so that I could enjoy my days off in Minca and Taganga. The wifi is almost perfect and so I could work remotely whilst enjoying the pools!

The volunteering takes place in a beautiful hostel near paso del mango. The team is amazing and the volunteers at the time were really fun. Depending on your skills or what kind of help is needed, you will either teach yoga, help behind the bar, or something else :) Thank you for everything !
