This volunteer position was truly great. I had no idea what to expect, as it was my first time volunteering through Worldpackers, but this experience has motivated me so much to continue traveling this way. The job was fun, challenging and I really enjoyed the hours plus I had a great time with the other volunteers. Host was always available, very helpful and understanding of the problems that could occur, and even though there was a language barrier everything worked out great. The hostel is one of the beat experience i had so long, starting with the lovely manager Silvana and incredible owner Christian who became both my friends, they were excellent host and gave me a lot of fun, love, experience which will help me to open a new project in the future, also the place attract beautiful people who become again frieinds. Higly recommend this experience and place, the work is easy and you get more than you offer. Gracias por todo!

I had an amazing experience at the hostel, felt warmly welcomed everybody there is so nice you can really feel the good vibrations coming out of this place! The work was easy and the work hours were respected, in case of problem you can always count on Chris and Silvana to help you. Thanks again for making this experience special!

El hostel y el hostel son dos hostels lindos en Bacalar, buenos lugares para aprender de las tareas de volunatariado en hostels, estan en el pueblo así que moverse es muy sencillo, cerca de todo y cerca de la laguna, Cris y Silvana son grandes anfitriones , gracias por la experiencia.

Mi experiencia en the hostel fue súper linda! Los dueños Christian y Silvana son súper amable y buena honda, siempre se aseguran que todos estén bien a gusto! El alojamiento es cómodo y ancho y las tareas son claras y sencillas! Lo pasé muy bien la verdad y al final decidí de extender mi estadía de otras dos semanas! El equipo de voluntario también estuvo increíble y creamos una pequeña familia… me sentí como a casa 💓 Gracias chicos por esta oportunidad!

Me llevo en el corazón esta experiencia. Creo que es la experiencia perfecta para conocer a muchas personas y conocer los alrededores de Bacalar que son tan hermosos como Bacalar! My stay in Xibalbá is been amazing! First of all Bacalar is a whole paradise and the hostel is very nice with chill vibes. With the others volunteers and Silvana and Christian i felt like in another home, everyone here is very kind and fun. The work is not hard at all and the hours are always well respected and there is mutual help always. I mean, i can't say anything bad at all for this place, i loved it and i'm loving it. In fact i also extended 3 weeks more, this place is addictive! Thank you 🫶🏻
