I spent one and a half month here and I would really recommend this place to stay if you wanna discover the south coast of Sri Lanka. It's a really quiet place in a not busy village and it has a nice garden with the access to the sea. What else? The principal tasks have been take care of the house, receive the guests and making some contents for social media. It's a place that gives you also the possibility to meet other travellers and share experiences. the host has been ' home ' for me. Hope to come back again ❤️

Volunteering in the host was fantastic! The place is stunning and the location as well, you are right in front of the beach and the bus stop, which can takes you everywhere. The communication with Carlos and Raquel was easy and the tasks too, just taking care of the house, manage the check ins and enjoy this chilly place. Thanks guys for receiving us and we wish you and your family all the best!! the host will be always our home in Sri Lanka!

My trip to Sri Lanka changed me deeply. For a month I was immersed in wild nature and lulled by the sound of the sea. A summer made of surfing, spectacular animals (elephants, turtles, buffaloes, monkeys and many others), breathtaking landscapes, tropical fruit and fragrant spices... all sweetened by the hospitality and the kind smile of the locals. They taught me to appreciate the little things and to focus on the beauty of the present. the host accompanied me on this journey of personal growth and it will forever have a place in my heart! the host, THANK YOU!

Volunteering in Midigama was amazing. I was planning to stay 2 weeks, ended up staying one month and a half. The work is easy and the schedule is very flexible, which gave me a lot of freedom to organize my days. The location is stunning, and I was surfing every day, paddling in right from the garden of the house. 100% recommend!

The host was my first volunteering experience, and it was super good. I spent 2,5 weeks here and had the best time. You get your own room and the work is super chill so you get a lot of free time 🏄🏽‍♀️🐠🌞Recommend to anyone who wants to explore the south of Sri Lanka!

Really nice location right by the sea 🌊 Carlos & Raquel were always very friendly to us. Once you have done your work, you can organize your own time to explore the beautiful area.
