My time at Pure Vitra Hostel was super chill! Analia is a very sweet and funny person and I'm glad we met. I appreciated her openness to my ideas and her flexibility overall. The hostel is very clean and well taken care of and I felt super comfortable there. My work consisted of max. 2 hours of yoga classes per day, sometimes only one hour and assisting some activities like setting up the space for a movie night, so I had lot's of time to explore the area. Overall I'm very grateful for the exchange we had and look forward to seeing her again! Mucho amor, gracias por todo! <3

I had a great experience at the hostel! The tasks were clear, and easy to do : check in of the guests, payements, laundry for the guests...ect. If you have doubt, Ana always answers quickly and is willing to help. Apart from the job, I had a lot of free time to do activities - especially with the discounts the volunteers have during their stay - and there is a lot do around La Fortuna (hiking around the volcano Arenal, waterfall, river, Rio celeste...etc)! I reccomend for travellers who want to have free accomodation, discounts on tours, and are able to work 5h/5 days a week! :)

Mi experiencia fue excelente. La ubicación es perfecta, cerca de todo lo importante, y el ambiente es muy acogedor. Ana es muy amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar, lo que hace que te sientas como en casa. Además, el hostel ofrece muchas actividades, lo que hace que la estancia sea aún más divertida y enriquecedora. Definitivamente lo recomiendo para quienes busquen un lugar cómodo y lleno de buenas oportunidades para interactuar y disfrutar.

Tuve la suerte de poder estar en el hostel haciendo mi voluntariado y no puedo decir absolutamente nada malo , Ana y Jonathan fueron un encanto de personas y me ayudaron a q fuera mas cómoda la estancia. El hostel un lugar impoluto y gracias a su localización podrás disfrutar de la naturaleza . Una experiencia a repetir graciasss🙏🙏

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue hermosa! El hostal está muy céntrico y está muy bonito, los horarios y actividades son muy sencillas y tienes bastante tiempo libre para disfrutar de La fortuna. Ana siempre estuvo ahí para ayudarme, es una maravillosa persona y siempre procura hacerte sentir como en casa. Muchas gracias; nos vemos pronto!!

My time at the hostel was very chill. The hostel is super comfy and clean, and through my work at the reception I could connect with other travellers easily. The tasks were simple and explained well. Anytime there was a problem, Ana was usually there to help, although once there was an unusual situation that I didn't know how to handle bc she didn't explain it in advance. Only downside: You can't do that much in La Fortuna without having to pay quite a bit for the tours. So it's really nice that volunteers get discounts, but it still adds up if you want to da lot of things.

I really enjoyed each day of staying in La Fortuna. The work and tasks are easy to accomplish throughout the shift. Ana is so kind and understanding, she helped me with the hundreds of questions I always had. She'll always be available for any situation that may come up. There's a lot of time to explore and walk through the center of the town and the discounts you get as a volunteer for tours are really nice as well! The fans and curtains on each bed are very much appreciated and it makes you feel like you have a lot of privacy. I'll always remember my time here and the buenas vibras, thank u!

I had a great time at the hostel! The tasks were simple and easy - mainly reception, folding sheets, and cleaning up the common kitchen. You have a lottttt of free time. Ana is an amazing host! She answered any questions and was accommodating! Thank you Ana!

Working at the hostel with Ana was a pleasure! The tasks were super clear (and even written down!) and I even had the chance to have a shift that allowed me to do lots of different things during the day:) Ana was also always there if I had any questions or issues. Overall, it's a really well organized place, with a cleaning lady coming everyday, big kitchen with lots of storage and with access to a variety of cooking tools, clean room… My friend and I had the chance to see a variety of things, we truly loved the experience and the bound with Ana;)

Los días en el hostel fueron muy lindos. las actividades fueron respetadas y flexibles, y muy tranquilas para hacerlas.la ubicación del Hostel es muy buena y desde ahí tenés una vista al volcán arenal <3 Ana, la dueña, siempre está pendiente y abierta a ayudarte y brindarte información sobre que hacer en el lugar. lo recomiendo mucho. gracias y espero volver!
