To ensure we provide you with a comfortable experience, we ask for a small contribution of $7 per day. This helps cover meals, drinking water, electricity, and Wi-Fi, as these essentials are quite limited here in the desert. It’s not just about covering costs it’s about creating a shared experience where everyone helps sustain the magic of this remote place. Thank you for understanding!

I had a great 2 weeks at Dar Nomad! I mainly wanted to practice my Arabic, and I learned a lot of new vocabulary and also got to learn about Berber culture. The hosts were all lovely people, and the other volunteers as well. The work wasn't quite what I expected (I thought I would be doing social media and instead did farming and stuff) but I was okay with that. Living conditions were a little hard for me to get used to since there's no running water but another volunteer and I had fun washing each other's hair! Also there is a hammam in town and it's an authentic experience :)

It was a real pleasure having you with us. Even though you first came for social media, the desert had its own plan and you flowed with it beautifully. From new Arabic words to sunlit moments and hammam laughs, you lived it fully. Always welcome back when the rhythm calls again.

My and my friend stayed with Mohamed for about a week and the time there was, all in all, a good experience. The place and the people are all very authentic. At first, you do have to get used to the very simple life. But once you have spent some time with them and settled in, it is definitely a unique and great experience. The people are all very helpful, loving and open. There is also the option of going on excursions (f.e. to the desert, but with payment. At the end of our stay, we went home with new friends, lots of new impressions and lots of delightful insights. :)

My and my friend stayed with Mohammed for about a week and the time there was, all in all, a good experience. The place and the people are all very authentic. At the end of our stay, we went home with new friends, lots of new impressions and lots of delightful insights. :)

Definitly a meaningful and amazing discovery! Learned so much about culture, food, farming...and its a pleasure to be part of all those projects. Glad to have been welcomed and shared some of this dream. This experience isnt something you go through, its a feeling built together and shared, that stays with you :) Cant wait to see where this goes.

Mohamed is a very nice person. He's open to speak and share his life, culture, family and more. We spent an amazing week, working with basically tasks at home like cleaning and helping him and his friend with works because they are building a new kitchen. In the morning we woke up at 9 and after breakfast we worked for 2-3 hours. In the morning he showed me amazing places. I felt at home with them, they cooked a lot of typical dishes and enjoying food all together.
