Hello Folks,


I will need help mostly during the spring and summer, and a couple of weeks
during autumn. I will specify the dates in this first sentence as soon as I know when.
I will generally need help for 10- 14 days at a time. Generally, the work will be yardwork, helping with the garden, some domestic work, cooking, and cleaning. Other little tasks come up all the time.

We live in Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast in B.C., Canada. The view from my property is spectacular—the ocean, mountains, and islands are magical. You can rent a kayak and explore the islands nearby. We live in an area with many artists and writers, as well as numerous cultural events. The hiking is diverse, with waterfalls, lakes, and creeks, as well as many beaches for swimming.

It's a great location if you love nature, hiking, cycling, swimming, kayaking, and attending outdoor concerts or the Writer's Festival.
I need a helper who can assist with household tasks, depending on their preferences. cooking, yard work, household chores, gardening, downsizing and decluttering, and some light cleaning, and I would favour someone with carpentry skills who could help with renovations. I might need some painting done, so anyone with skills as a painter or renovator would be excellent.

I enjoy hosting folks from many different cultures.

I treat our helpers with respect. If any of us don't feel it's a good fit, we can discuss how to make changes or end the stay, with time for our helper to find a better-suited situation. My goal is for our helper to enjoy the work and play, explore the community, and find wonderful things to do during days off. Vancouver is only one hour away.
