The host and staffs are really friendly and nice. For the workload, it is not heavy at all and you can always share the tasks with your fellow worldpackers together as a team. For the hostel itself, it is really nice with high privacy for the beds and everything is so well-organized and clean which gives me a feeling of being home. I have made so many friends here and definitely recommend other worldpackers to join this warm family and enjoy a great work exchange experience.

The hostel it's a great place to volunteer! It is a very warm and cute place, it feels like a home, the staff is very friendly and approachable, the location is good, you can walk to the beach and very close to the metro station. Thanks to Vania for making my stay enjoyable.

The hostel was beyond my expectations! The staff is easygoing, helpful, patient and we easily became friends. I had the opportunity to start surfing and to meet very nice people! I really felt like I was at home, feeling free to do my job by my way, and to enjoy the beach or the city in my free time. It's a peaceful atmosphere with not so many guests, so you have the opportunity to know each one. I'm already missing the hostel! Hope to go back one day! I'll never forget this awesome experience. Wish that everyone could have a chance like mine!! Thank you João, Carla and Vania!

O Hostel é incrível e a equipe de anfitriões também. Situado relativamente perto do centro e bem perto da praia, o hostel é ideal para quem não quer se jogar todos os dias na vida noturna de Porto, mas que prefere pegar uma praiana, fazer um surf, trilhas no Parque da Cidade e etc. Fui muito bem recebido e me senti em casa o tempo todo que estive lá, o trabalho é tranquilo e os hóspedes que o hostel recebe são agradáveis e interessantes. Adorei o meu tempo de estadia lá, recomendo com certeza! Abraços do worldpacker MENOS preguiçoso que vocês já conheceram! <3

I don't know how to even begin to describe my experience in the hostel. It was definetly one of the best things that happened in my life. I made so many good friends, people that I'll keep with me for the rest of my life including the amazing people from staff, João, Vânia, Eduarda and Carla. They are so kindhearted and always willing to help you with anything. I really felt at home, plus the hostel is super confortable and clean and the chores are pretty easy. No doubt it is the best hostel I've ever stayed in my life! So many good memories. Thank you very much and I'll be back soon :)

O lugar é bem localizado, perto da praia e 20 minuto do centro. É limpo, organizado e o anfitrião, o João é sempre muito cuidadoso e educado. É uma experiência que eu levo para vida e certamente voltaria.

The staff is always pain attentation if you are feeling good in the hostel, at the end you feel you are in home with a big family of friends! I really want to come back there! Also you have the metro stop really near and from there you can move almost for all porto, i just can say is an really pura vida hostel!!

"A home in a foreign land". That's how I'd describe my stay at the hostel. I couldn't ask for more hospitality. João, Carina and Eduarda are the loveliest, kindest, and most helpful people I have ever met in a country that isn't mine. If you are looking for peace, fun and friends, this is the place for you. I made my biggest group of international friends here. Every object in the hostel is so mesmerizing with artistic aura around it. This is my first experience as a Worldpacker and it turned out to be a great one. In simple words, Opportocean is absolutely incredible.

My experience at the hostel was pretty fun. The staff is awesome and I really felt at home. Everyone is treated in the same way (staff+guests) so we usually go out together at night or to the beach. I have to say that some tasks given weren't the ones said on the website what pissed me off a little bit but nothing that a good conversation can't change things. I learned a lot during the weeks I stayed there and I hope to be back in Portugal soon so I can see my the hostel friends again. Saudades, Porto! Beijinhos.

The hostel has a lovely atmosphere since the moment you arrive. It is a new hostel so can see it as soon as you arrive. The staff is always kind and helpful when you need it. Ideal for people who love to surf, meet new people and enjoy. I would definetly go back, I hope it's soon. I started going specting how to learn to surf but now i want to come back to relive the feeling. It is a good iniciative to have a lock in the door so you can go in at the time you wish and not depend of the hour someone is in the reception. You can enjoy an relax in the living room, watch some movie
