My experience on the coliving Oaxaca was the best ever! I stayed there a month and really enjoyed my time there! The manager Ivonne was awesome. We had weekly meetings to talk about our past week and next week. We could always tell our preferences about the shifts, that are 3 or 4 a week (from 8am to 2pm or 2pm to 8pm). And one activity that we could choose each week. I made friends for life there, it's a chill coliving but at the same time really good to meet people! It was my first time volunteering and I really loved it! Thank you, the coliving family <3

I loved my experience at the coliving! Helping with social media, creating content for their Instagram. There were weekly family dinners, taco tours, short trips to hiking nearby, and more activities! I felt very connected to the people here and the slow living of experiencing Oaxacan hospitality, delicious food and culture. Ivonne is a super sweet manager. She is considerate and communicates well. We hold weekly meetings to report our experiences. I will never forget the wonderful experience I had here! Be sure to try salsa lessons and mole!!

Fue mi primer experiencia en Worldpackers y no pudo haber sido mejor! Un mes muy divertido y al mismo tiempo podías tener días tranquilos, la comunidad que se crea en el coliving es increíble ❤️ La ubicación es buena porque estas en el centro de la ciudad, te quedan muchos puntos de interés cerca. Ivonne siempre esta abierta a escuchar y crear acuerdos en las juntas de cada semana. Lo recomiendo mucho mucho!!! 😊😊

I had a great experience volunteering at the coliving! The management, especially Ivonne, is so sweet and welcoming — she really makes you feel at home. The hostel is always clean thanks to the hardworking cleaning staff, and the showers are always hot 🙌🏾 The bunks are comfy, there's plenty of space, and the vibe is super friendly. The volunteer schedule is really flexible with only 2–3 shifts a week (6 hours each), plus one easy and fun activity like family dinner, game night, or a weekend trip. Highly recommend🥹

My heart is filled with sadness as I prepare to leave this wonderful community that has become like family these past few weeks, Ivonne, Laurens and everyone else working here are so loving and so passionate about their work, they truly care for both the volunteers and the guests and are really focused on building a sense of community amongst everyone here! I will forever be grateful to this place, for all the shared moments, laughs and meaningful connections I have made with my fellow volunteers and with the guests. I grew so much from this experience and highly recommend you join!

Ivonne and Laurens created a really special place directly in the centre of beautiful oaxaca. It is a place to get inspired and work with focus. The facilities are great! The activities you will lead various and unique. You can also come up with your own ideas. The work is very simple and fair. Personally I prefer shifts where you have more to do. In the coliving your main task is to communicate with the guests. Oaxaca and the coliving is a great and vibrant place. If you consider to go to Oaxaca - volunteer there!

I had a great 1 month volunteering at the coliving. I truly felt respected here, the team is full of young open minded creative people. It is a truly calm, positive and inspirational environment. It was my first time being surrounded by so many digital nomads as well and I found it super interesting to learn more about each of the guest. We had to also organize 1 trip or activity every week, which was covered by the coliving. The only thing missing were the free spanish lessons but there are plenty of classes that you can take in Oaxaca for cheap!

I would definitely recommend the coliving to a traveller and digital nomad! This community is truly a family away from home. The layout is designed to be conducive to community, but the coworking space is quiet and separate. Ivonne, the manager, is thoughtful, kind, and understanding. I always knew my schedule the week before and could request changes if I needed. I never had to wait for a shower or bathroom in the shared facilities. Ivonne was available if I had any questions during my shift, and was patient when I needed additional help. I loved being a part of the weekly activities! I'll be back!

My staying in the coliving was really nice. They have reception shifts and one activity extra of the week, sometimes u will be in charge of the family dinner (u have to cook the dinner for the communit, so if u like cookin, this is the perfect place for u). The community that's it's created is really nice, most of the guest will stay more than one week, so u can really get to know them and creat great bonds with them. The rooms, kitchen and bathroom are really clean and organized, all really comfortable. Oaxaca is amazing city, a lot of culture and the food is the highlight for this place.
