2nd time staying in the hostel, even better than the first time, Dario and Matea are very nice people and helped me a lot, even now is low season in winter they respect a lot the working hours and they explained how to do everything so you won't have any troubles, I definitely recommend this opportunity, the city is beautiful tons of things to do, the accommodation couldn't be better you will have anything you'll need and you will connect with a lot of travelers, 100% recommend

My volunteering in the hostel was amazing Dario and Matea are very chill and fun to be around, they are very helpful and flexible, even I arrived in low season was great lot of things to do nearby, everything was as we agreed you will have plenty of time to enjoy all the tourists places, they even took me on a kayak tour and it was spectacular, I definitely recommend this experience, the hostel is very comfortable and the location couldn't be better right in the heart of Dubronick, definitely going back in summer season, thank you so much to Dario and Matea for giving the opportunity

I had a great 5 weeks at the hostel this summer. It's a rewarding experience for anyone who enjoys interacting with guests from around the world. The work was varied and enjoyable, though physically demanding at times. My tasks mainly included cleaning, laundry, and showing guests to rooms. There was a good balance between work and free time, with plenty of opportunities to experience Dubrovnik and surrounding areas. The other volunteers were great, and I enjoyed socialising with them. The staff building was also great. Matea was very communicative and supportive - Thank you for the stay!

I had a really nice time during my stay in Dubrovnik — the city is beautiful and the hostel has a great vibe. Unfortunately, I had to leave earlier than planned due to personal reasons, but I'm thankful for the experience and the people I met. Wishing all the best to the team and future volunteers! 💛

I really enjoyed my time volunteering at the hostel, and would recommend this experience for anyone interested in meeting lots of new people in a beautiful place. The tasks were fairly straightforward like laundry and checking in guests however the shifts could get strenuous especially with the heat. The work could get pretty exhausting after some time however I didn't mind as I had lots of free time otherwise to spend at the beach and explore Dubrovnik. Matea was helpful whenever I needed anything and made my experience comfortable. Any questions feel free to shoot me a msg!

I wish I had good things to say, but I don't. I was supposed to stay for 1 month. After one week, I decided to leave with another volunteer who also couldn't stand it. It was obvious to us that it was an unsustainable situation. I do think that this volunteering has potential, if there was more respect for the time of people who are helping out in exchange for a bed. But it's crystal clear that volunteers are being used for free labour. 6 hours a day is fine if there's common sense. Asking volunteers to do the exact same tasks as paid staff for zero remuneration is borderline illegal.
