Rob and Rebe are very welcoming and you truly feel like family. The location is great, 10 minutes away from the beach backing onto a primary forest - there is always lots of wildlife to see on the Finca itself. The work is very varied and reasonable, you will learn a lot about turtles, regenerative farming, spanish, healthier options... the list could go on. The eco village is a home away from home where you learn so much on the daily and get to spend time with wonderful people! I got to learn about sustainable farming, sea turtles and Spanish - everything I wanted to learn about. The accommodation is lovely (just don't forget mosquito repellent) and Rob and Rebe are great hosts.

I had a unique experience at the eco village as I helped watch over the place while Rebe and Rob were on a well-deserved vacation. Even though the month was a lot of work, I enjoyed spoiling their dogs, discovering new recipes, and fulfilling their important commitments to the sea turtle conservation project! This remote farm is ~40 min. walking to the nearest town, so be prepared to disconnect from the world and immerse yourself in the jungle and wildlife of Costa Rica! I was honored to have Rebe and Rob trust me with their home and perros! I'll always cherish my first WP experience here!

My time at the eco village was a unique experience because our hosts went on vacation, so I had the privilege of looking after the farm and their dogs and continuing with sea turtle conservation duties. It was a lot of work, but it was rewarding work. If you plan on coming here know that you will have a lot of responsibilities and will be expected to complete tasks even on your days off. I fell in love with the place I called home for a month and a half and Rob and Rebe are absolutely amazing people. This was my first experience with Worldpackers and I couldn't be happier with my decision.

This was an amazing experience! Rob and Rebe were so welcoming and made me feel right at home. You really feel like you are part of a community there. I learned so much about sustainable living/farming and sea turtles! We had so much fun on our days off doing all different kinds of activities like snorkeling and horseback riding. 10/10 recommend coming here if you are looking to get in touch with nature and experience beautiful Costa Rica. Truly amazing experience! Robe and Rebe have created such a wonderful place for volunteers. They treat everyone like family and take time to educate their guests on sustainability and the work they are doing. It was a great balance between work, relaxation, and fun. This was our first Worldpackers trip and it was better than we could've hoped. Plus you really can't beat Rebe's cooking. Thanks again!

I absolutely adored my stay with Rob & Rebe at the eco village. The volunteer group is much more intimate then I had expected, so as a warning don't be thrown off if your bunk beds are in the common room... however, after about 24 hours your so comfortable with everyone that it really doesn't matter. During my stay, there was about 4-7 volunteers and with the hours we work together, along with the three meals a day together, and with Rob & Rebe looking after us it really starts to feel like a mini family. Not only would I recommend this stay to others, but I am also hoping to make a trip back:)

Amazing experience. A wonderful way to experience life slowed down and in nature. Rebe was very accommodating to my many dietary restrictions and incredibly patient and her yoga classes left me feeling more alive than ever. The community built around this experience left me with several lifelong friends and the ability to be completely myself in this place I called home for just over two weeks.

My time at the eco village has been amazing, i met wonderful people that i will always have in my heart. The place is as amazing as the food. The work its not too hard and they gave us an extra day off so that we could go for a walk with the horses (to make you understand how kind they are). I'am really grateful, it is a place where you regain inner peace

This trip was everything i had hoped for and even more! I am grateful for this experience and would 100% recommend it! It was a chance to connect with nature while being surrounded by people who become family. Rob & Rebe are amazing people with a heart of gold! The combination of Rob's endless knowledge about nature and Rebe's incredible cooking and yoga classes made this trip so enriching! Really a trip i'm never gonna forget! <3
