The experience was truly wonderful! PCEF really does an amazing project, promoting quality the school for children who need it, otherwise it would be difficulty for them to access English courses. the school's family is perfect. The kids are lovely and super smart! the school is an amazing host and makes the atmosphere at school really comfortable. I recommed the experience for everyone who wants to know better the real life in Cambodia!

I left the school only last week, and I'm still wishing to go back. I lived the best days of my life at the school and enjoyed every moment with the kids in PCEF and with the school's family. You will be staying in a private/shared room, eating the most delicious food (thank you Saivong) and you will meet the cutest kids ever! If you are reading this review and thinking about volunteering at this place; don't hesitate, just do it!

It was an amazing experience!! Those kids really have a strong impact on you! The host family is really sweet! The mother is a super women, always taking care of everyone! And the kids are so responsible for their age!

What a special place. I am so sad to leave but I hope to continue to work with the school to help raise money for a new classroom. Apart from being too hot at times, I loved every moment at PCEF. You feel part of a big family as well as being respected and appreciated. Even though I am older than the average volunteer, we all got on really well and had a lot of fun as well as working together to make a difference. Take some snacks for the long time between lunch and dinner, appropriate clothes and an open mind.

Oh, Abigail, it's so nice to read your review. You were more than helpful for us, helping with all your experience at teaching for the kids, building the roof for the hammocks and also with fund raising. Your energy brought so much joy to our school and family.

I will never forget these weeks living in Lvea Village with all the family and teaching English in PCEF school. If you are hesitating about which place should you choose for volunteering, do not doubt any more and come to the school's family for helping, living an experience in the countryside, being surrounded by beautiful nature, eating delicious food made with lot of love, spending time with kind children and also learning a lot about them!! I felt at home since the first day I arrived.They are doing an incredible job for more than 450 students and for sure I will come back!!100% recommended

From the first moment at PCEF school I felt at home, always looked after by the family and with a very good atmosphere with the other volunteers. Living with a the school family and being able to enter their culture is a privilege, but being able to do it with the school's family is even better. The experience at the school has been unbeatable, the children have the will to learn English and they always have a big smile when they see you around. If you want to feel at home, loved and you want to help the school children have a better future, this is definitely your place!!! Saivong, the school, see you!

Volunteering at PCEF was a great decision. the school and his family are the most inspiring and kind people you'll meet. There is so much to gain from immersing yourself in the culture here. Jonte was a fantastic volunteer, He really made a special connection with our family and the kids at the school. The kids continued to ask where you were even after you left. Their teaching was excellent and we are always here when you want to return. Seeing them having a good time at our school was so good.

This was my first experience volunteering, and I was pretty anxious - Not knowing what to expect. However I can confidently say that this is one of the most inspiring and life-changing experiences of my life. the school does a wonderful job making sure travel and accommodations are taken care of. So, the moment you touch down in Siem Reap, you don't need to worry. Teaching at PCEF was a breeze. The structured classes provided a clear roadmap for what to teach each day. The students, who were always smiling and eager to learn, made the experience incredibly fulfilling.

Volunteering in PCEF school was a very beautiful experience. Mr. the school and his family are very kind and respectful and they are always concerned about us and our comfort. Food is wonderful. The classes are very easy to follow and you are free to make more activities with the children if you want. The students are adorable, always smiling and wanting to learn. My fully respect for all the work done in this school and I would say that if you have the chance, go volunteer in Lvea Village, please. Thank you so much for everything. I am glad to belong now to this big family.

This experience was definitely life changing. the school and his family are lovely people who make you feel like family while you're staying with them! I had no experience teaching before this and this was a really good option for people who haven't taught before because they give you a page every day of what you are going to teach, so it's easy for anyone with no experience. The students are amazing, they're adorable and very happy to be there. It's a very fulfilling experience, I definitely recommend doing it. Also the meals they cook every day are amazing!
