I had such a lovely experience staying at the project! Camilo, Vania, Julia and Otavio were all very welcoming and friendly. They hosted a macrame workshop during the first week which, despite my language barrier, was a great new skill to learn and I have come away with lots of new macrame pieces. Outside work was a bit slow due to to the weather but I enjoyed tending to the vegetable beds, planting trees at the new property and picking the fruit to be made into jams. Mealtimes were a great time to immerse myself into the Portuguese language and the food was always very delicious and home-grown.

I had a wonderful experience at the project! The hosts Camilo, Vania and Julia were very welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The work was very reasonable and the hours were flexible, so we had time to go hiking and explore the beautiful sights and waterfalls nearby. It was very interesting to learn more about gardening, sustainability and community, and to be part of this beautiful project. I am so grateful for this whole experience and I hope to return soon!

This experience was amazing, very chill and flexible with many different projects to chose from. it was a great balance between work and play and the facilities are very homy, we felled like were part of the family (team) from day one!

The project is a very interesting project in that they utilize a variety of ecological and sustainable solutions to experiment and educate. The property is located in a beautiful and small agricultural community that was quite relaxing and enjoyable to explore. Muito obrigado to the project team! The exchange was quite fair and relaxing! Work hours were respected (loosely 7:30-12:00) and usually involved cleaning, pulling weeds and planting in the garden, or helping to explore the newly purchased forest property. English was a little limited, but there was usually someone around to translate.

Camilo and Vânia are incredibly nice people, I had a really good time and felt welcome. the project is located in a rural area with beautiful nature around, every day it was a joy to look from the windows and explore the area. We had nice meals every day, with vegetables from te garden. It was a perfect opportunity for me to relax and breathe a bit, as I just left Rio carnaval. This place is perfect to relax and connect with nature.

Camilo y Vânia hacen un muy buen equipo! Son acogedores y generosos, me hicieron sentir bienvenida desde el primer día. El sitio es precioso, y aunque el trabajo es duro, son pocas horas y es muy gratificante. Están ubicados en una buena zona donde hay bastantes cosas que hacer, como dar paseos o ir a los pueblos más cercanos, como Cunha o Sao Luiz de Paratinga. Están empezando un proyecto nuevo y eso es muy emocionante, ya que siempre habrá cosas que hacer y es precioso poder presenciar el comienzo de una nueva etapa. Muito obrigada!! Até breve 🥰🥰

Camilo, Vania and Octavio are warm, open and unpretentious hosts. The house is very comfortable in a green hilly setting. Vania's vegetarian cooking is delicious and nutritious. I helped with digging a trench, gardening, organising, repairs and building a bamboo fence. Camilo is patient and helpful, though not one to celebrate finished tasks, so you might wanna initiate the high-fives yourself :-) Comms in Spanish and English was good, while they speak Portuguese among them. Bring mosq repellent, sun screen and sturdy clothes. Muito obrigado! Your new land will be a slice of paradise

The accommodations were wonderful, with a cozy house and private rooms that gave me a perfect place to relax after a full day. One of my favorite aspects was the fresh food straight from the garden—nothing beats the taste of vegetables you've helped grow yourself! This week was not just a getaway but a meaningful experience that left me feeling inspired and refreshed. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a mix of adventure, learning, and great company.

La experiencia con Camilo y Vania fue realmente agradable, pasamos momentos increibles a su lado. Si te gusta o tienes inquietud por comenzar en proyectos ecologicos no dudes de postular a este proyecto increible, vale 100% la pena.
