Help with renovation projects in Buddhist centre near Berlin

It was lovely to come to a safe and quiet place after travelling a lot, the people at the Center have at every occasion the best energy to help and teach. I was working more closely with the shop manager and it was amazing because I really felt valued with Hank. She allowed me to use my talents and skills to help her work and always took my experience into consideration. As a personal opinion and advice to the general management, I think it is important to identify the skills and abilities of the volunteers to assign them to the right tasks, to keep them motivated and to make them feel valued.

Las tareas varían cada día y tienes dos "tea break" lo cual es genial para sentir amena la jornada. Trabajar con Alex y Namnyi fue muy relajado y agradable, es un buen equipo. El lugar donde duermes es muy grande y cómodo, no sirve el WiFi en el cuarto pero puedes usar el café o el comedor. Las instalaciones son muy grandes y limpias. Esta alejado de casi todo pero puedes usar las bicis para salir, si tomas bus a dos horas de Berlín. El equipo es muy divertido, es acogedor cenar todos juntos tomando el sol o los viernes de reunión. Necesitan más voluntarios, hay mucho por hacer 💪🏻✨

It was a nice place to relax, to meet good people and to learn about buddhism. I would definitely repeat this experience!

For my stay, we demolished old post war construction and leveled the terrain. The place is welcoming and spacious, you'll be living in a castle. We had a work schedule for 8 hours per day with 2 hours break.

It's been my third time in the Center and things have been great as always! I'm so happy that I could meet my friends (and new ones!) again and that I could take part in the Christmas and New years party. It was so fun! Much love for everyone! Until the next time!

My experience was amazing & unique! From the moments we could learn and share experiences with the local people, the daily activities and all the contacts we can make with guests and other work visitors, to the peaceful place, very delicious and healthy meals. The time of the sheets are well planned and allow us to have a good time with the projects and with outside experiences. The activities can be hard sometimes for some people, they make the best to find a good opportunity for each one to help respecting their limits and abilities. Already missing this wonderful place and people I met!

Minha experiência foi incrível, tive contato com uma comunidade muito amável, que levarei com muito carinho no coração, todos foram super receptivos e gentis, a orientação quanto às atividades a serem realizadas era com muita calma e sempre mostrando o propósito. O local é lindo, em meio a natureza, nos meus momentos livres gostava de participar das práticas de meditação, puja e aprender mais a respeito do Budismo, também aproveitava para caminhar e passear de bicicleta pela região, foi um ótimo momento para reflexão. Deixo meu agradecimento a todos que me receberam, pretendo voltar ❣️

Amazing experience!!! The food was amazing and work was mostly as agreed upon. Made a lot of new friends and got to enjoy the surrounding nature every day. Really recommend if you want something peaceful and quiet. Sending extra love to Hank❤️
