This the hostel is an excellent way to see Seoul and speak with locals. As other reviews point out it is about an hour to the centre and the food provided is just basic ramen and a few other essentials. the hostel itself is a nice place to live as there are enough restaurants and things to do there. The work is easy and hours sometimes end up being less than 4 hours a day so I would recommend this to anyone who wants to explore Seoul.

The work was mostly fun and super easy, most days we only had 2-3 hours of work. It was nice meeting locals and getting recommended activities and restaurants! the host is a nice the host, but it truly does take about an hour and 20mins to get to the center of Seoul. The apartment is quite small for 7 people (1 slept on a mattress). A lot of the beds were somewhat broken and not very comfortable. Also the food provided isn't much so you'll probably end up spending quite a lot of money on it. Overall I woul still say it was a good experience and could recommend it (:

I had a really good time working at the studio! The best part was the people I got to meet during my two weeks there. Both the other volunteers and the students made my experience memorable, I met incredible people and had a lot of fun. Sharing the apartment with other 6 people can be challenging at times, but I got used to it and everything went smoothly. The working hours are reasonable and set daily, so you usually have to wait until the same day to know what your shifts are going to be. Thanks Oscar!

It was a good experience to meet locals, the job is really easy and the students are really kind, the town is quite small and going to Seul takes an hour so be mindful if you Want to go there often. Also the food available is eggs, rice, ramen and eggs Oscar is a good host

Oscar is a nice guy but it's the other volunteers that made this experience unforgettable to me. I had an amazing time with everyone and made memories I will cherish forever. The work and the accomodation are okay. It says three meals will be provided, but the only thing that is provided is Ramen, Eggs and bread. That's a little bit misleading in my opinion. The host is not involved except when it comes to work. The language studio is nice and the students are amazing and generally fun to talk to. In the 3 weeks I have stayed here I made genuine connections with the students and I am sad to go

I had a very good time the host. The work is super easy and it's interesting to talk to all the students and the host ideas about Korea and other topics. The apartment is very close to the studio, but it definitely takes 1 hour or more to get to Seoul. 3 meals are not available, only ramen, rice and toast, and a few eggs. Overall, I had an amazing time and anyone who wants to speak English with locals and explore the host and Seoul and the same time, should come here!

Good work hours, amazing volunteers, top vibes. That being said, there are some issues: Oscar is realy nice and was treating us well, but I am worried about "miscommunications" that were happening. More than one volunteer got lost - adress is not explained well. Oscar confused the dates - I was asked to leave a day early, at 11 pm, and he didn't check if I found the accomodation, only if I left on time. Reason was the new volunteer coming in while he was not expecting it. However, he was still expecting me to work after I had been kicked out...? He was really nice, so I was surprised by this

I was lucky enough to meet amazing people during my stay and the space that oscar created allowed that. This experience allowed me to get close to the locals which, in turn, made my stay in South Korea better than I could've ever expected. I wish I could stay longer!! I'd say the only negative is that I spent half my money on convenience store food since not much is provided, but all in all it is possible to cook at home for those who are in a tighter budget than me.

It is a great experience with few hours of work which doesn't feel like work . You get 2 days off per week , which is great if you wanna travel a bit further. the people are very friendly, and there is a community feel to it. I really enjoyed this experience and talking to the students at the host- after a while, they really start to feel like friends. I would advise you uto stay longer than 2 weeks, because 2 weeks feels too short
