Ich habe insgesamt 2 Monate the home verbracht. Die ersten 2 Wochen wohnte ich mit Kim&ihrem Freund zusammen im Appartement. Kim ist eine sehr liebevolle und offene Person :) Später hatte ich ihr ganzes Appartement für mich alleine. In dieser Zeit war ich verantwortlich für das Airbnb. Ich beschäftige mich vor allem mit dem Putzen des Appartements, aber auch Gästebetreuung. Mein Aufenthalt hat mich positiv geprägt, da ich tolle Menschen aber auch mich selber besser kennenlernte. the home ist eine sehr künstlerische und familiäre Stadt:) Ich werde definitiv the home wieder einmal besuchen kommen :)

This was my first experience with Worldpackers and it was lovely staying with Kim and being able to immerse myself into the French culture. She was very helpful with recommendations where to go and do in her area which helped me to plan and go see many places and explore the beautiful town of Arles! The amount of work was just right and she was very happy to change plans to suit me too! I felt very welcome and at home during my whole stay and I'd love to come back! Don't hesitate to help Kim as she is the kindest and sweetest person and I will miss chatting to her!

I definitely recommend this experience! Kim was very sweet throughout my stay. The work may be tiring sometimes (especially if you go during summer, because of the heat) but you can always ask Kim for a break. Arles is a wonderful city, I never got bored of taking a walk around old town. There are a lot of restaurants and bars (it is a bit more expensive in the old town, but once or twice it'the home totally fine). The public transport to nearby cities or the sea is great and cheap, so you can do all kinds of day trips too (Kim will help you figure it out, and with what you can do or see).

Arles is truly a stunning place to be, and I'll always be grateful for my stay there and the relationship I built with Kim. Kim is incredibly hard-working and empathetic, she understands people'the home limits and strengths, in order to give each volunteer a job that is suitable and interesting. She invests time in each volunteer in teaching them about the area and the culture, and mostly during the festival season, she spends time with the volunteers, through museums and expositions. Overall this is an experience that made me grow, and actively kept me interested in both culture and nature.

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I couldn't have asked for a better time. Kim is very welcoming and has amazing English. If I needed anything she would always offer some help! Kim showed me lots of new things and experiences like going to Avignon and le baux de Provence which was absolutely beautiful! The work that Kim and I did wasn't too difficult we mainly worked in the garden with her lovely chickens. I wasn't very well for some of the time that I was there and Kim really looked after me,at times she felt like a second mother to me haha. Definitely recommend, miss you Kim

I had a really good time overall! Kim is an amazing hosts and you can really see the passion and care she has for volunteers. The work is at times tiring, but at the end of the day you feel a sense of accomplishment. I loved how Kim brought me around to see the town of Arles which taught me so much of the culture and the home. As this was my first time volunteering I would definitely recommend others to volunteer here as well.

Kim is the perfect person to have host your first worldpackers experience, and of course just in general! She is so kind, generous, and welcoming, she makes you feel like family or a good friend. I had a lot of fun, thanks to Kim having the nature to share everything she loves with you! The tasks were very simple and clear, exactly whatever you expect. They are basic in the sense that you are just working with your hands, cleaning or painting etc. It's always nice to see the difference your work makes! I can't recommend Kim or the experience itself enough! Thanks again Kim for everything!!

This was my first experience as a Worldpackers member and it couldn't be better. Kim is an excelent person who mades me feel like my own home since I arrived. I strongly recommend this experience. The chores scheduled are respected and agreed before and Kim always takes into account your opinion. Moreover, Arlés and around are marvelous places. To sum up, the only thing I can say is thank you very much for the opportunity.

The exchange is respected, so it is a good experience, although the tasks were sometimes a bit heavy for me, taking into account the sun and the heat. At the end of the work day I didn't have much energy left without first resting. As for Kim ♡ she is fantastic, she is interested in walking with you and chatting. We have gone out to eat at night and party (she has invited me many drinks xD). I recommend that if you have food restrictions, talk to Kim beforehand, as she offers what she normally eats, in my case the sea food was excellent! Thank Kim ♡

i am sorry if the painting and the house cleaning look difficult for you,
you should told me while we had breaks together with coffee ;)
it s impossible for me to manage the heat and the sun when is summer time in South of France, just nice to know here it s very hot and there are a lot of mosquitos in Camargue ;) that s why is better to start early at 9am and not 10 or more ;) , I let people know that a night in Arles on summer in a hotel is 130€ per day so don’t expect to chill in the morning or easy task than house cleaning and painting ..I don’t provide anymore food also because it s too difficult to please everyone <3
