Incredible people. Incredible atmosphere. Incredible city (and country). After this experience, the hostel is like a second family for me. All the staff is amazing, Mica is a really good person (if there is any problem she is gonna help you) and the shifts sometimes are a little bit hard, but once you are use to them, are not that much (also you are with another volunteers). If you are thinking about coming to the hostel, just do it, you are not going to regret!!!

There are no words to describe how much I loved each experience at the hostel! It was an incredible place, I felt at home. I will miss it a lot, the activities were not complicated, and the hostel also gives you a lot of support with questions. Mika is an incredible person, always attentive and constantly helping, so I only want to go back and enjoy more with these wonderful people I met at the hostel. 😭😭🫶🏼

Working at the hostel was my first volunteering experience, and I loved it so much! Micaelyn, Stephanie, and the team made me feel welcome and appreciated from the beginning. the hostel has a cozy vibe, and even though there are always many different people around, Micaelyn, Stephanie and the reception team ensured it was a safe space for everyone. The work could be stressful at times, but it was manageable, and there was always enough time to explore and hang out. I am so grateful for this experience and all the amazing people I got to meet. Thanks for having me! 🫶

This was like nothing I have ever experienced. I felt a part of the family as soon as I stepped foot into the hostel. As far as a first hostel experience goes I couldn't have asked for anything better than this.

Well, what can I say? the hostel, it's management and fellow volunteers feel like a second family. It really is home away from home. You become a part of the furniture in the best possible way. The work is straightforward and leaves you with plenty of time to explore the city and surrounds, relax or do whatever you please. I loved my time here and the hostel holds a special place in my heart. If you're lucky enough to volunteer here, embrace every moment and everything that Edinburgh has to offer!

This was my first voluneering experience and it was amazing. The staff was very kind and helpful from the beginning and I managed to find plenty of new friends even from the guests thank to the social activities and the friendly community. I would definitely come back for a longer period in the future

I am so immensely grateful for my first ever volunteering experience, as I loved every moment I spent at the hostel. The staff and the other volunteers are incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home from the first day on. There's so much going on socially - nights out, daytrips, game/movie nights, you name it. The housekeeping tasks were easy, the hours reasonable, and as soon as you're done with your tasks for the day (even if your shift technically hasn't ended yet) you're free to explore Edinburgh, which I thought was a really generous system. I would love to come back one day ❤️

Estoy realmente muy agradecido por haber vivido esta experiencia, tuve la oportunidad de conocer personas de diferentes partes del mundo con las que en poco tiempo se logra formar un ambiente de familia ❤️, el trabajo es sencillo y se respetan los horario por lo cual se tiene mucho tiempo libre para visitar museos, calles etc . Me llevo muchos buenos recuerdos. Una vez mas muchas gracias 🥹

Could not have wished for a better experience♥️ the hostel was my home, I met amazing people, the team was just dreamy, had fun working and had loads of time left to discover Edinburgh and Scotland . Would repeat a thousand times! ♥️
