The hostel has been one of the best experiences in my life, I stayed an extra week and cried when I had to (unfortunately) leave. The city is amazing, the locals are friendly and the staff very welcoming and accommodating. Hours were agreed upon before going and was respected 100%. If you're new to volunteering this is an amazing introduction as it's very well coordinated. If you're used to volunteering, well, just go! You won't regret it.

The hostel is a garden of beautiful lively people! I'm so grateful & inspired by everyone I worked alongside with. I made lifelong friendships here and was warmly welcomed into the community. I'm already looking forward to coming back! Thank you for having me : )

This was my fourth time at the hostel and as always, it was incredible. The work is fair, with hours being respected and a chill vibe on shift. the team are lovely and feel more like a family than work colleagues. If you are looking to volunteer in Romania 100% come and experience the hostel!

There's no place like the hostel. Near the end of my stay, a community member described it to me as like a kind of secular 'church' for many of the people it matters to; I think the 'third place' concept applies heavily. It was my first time volunteering in a hostel and I got sick during my stay, so I worry that I personally wasn't the 100% volunteer I was hoping I'd be, but everyone was nonetheless flexible and kind while I was there—I felt like my well-being was genuinely prioritized. Thank you all (but especially Mici the cat)

My time at the hostel was gorgeous. The atmosphere of this space is very conducive to creativity and connection to others. I met lots of beautiful people here. The work load is very reasonable, and relaxed, especially if you have experience in hospitality, or hostels. I encourage you to speak to everyone, let yourself make friends and to get involved - I guarantee you'll really enjoy your stay, and leave with many real and deep connections. Thanks to all who made it feel like home. I will make an effort to be back again. Big love

The experience at the hostel truly Is one of a kind:be It the locals sho regularly come to join the events, the guests, or the permanent staff members, everyone Is so kind that you don`t even feel like you are away from home.The shift are very simple and the schedule Is very flexible, we were also given a 250 lei budget for out weekly groceries shopping. Would definitelly recomend this volunteering tò whoever is looking for true human connections

I honestly have not a bad word to say about the hostel. It was my first time volunteering in a hostel and I could not have asked for a better experience, I loved every moment. The team there are amazing everyone makes you feel so welcome the moment you step. They have a really nice relation with the community and have events every night that are amazing, so much fun. The work is shared fairly and communication is incredible, there is always someone to answer any questions or assist in any way. I loved the hostel and would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a great volunteering experience

The gold standard for a hostel and the way in which this place is run! The staff and community are at the heart of this place and you'll feel like it too! Do not hesitate if you get an opportunity to volunteer here as you won't regret a minute! Sharing with just 1 or 2 in a room, a weekly shopping budget, discount at the bar, fun shifts and a supportive team! So much going on and I simply can't fault it!

It's a perfect hostel to not worry about anything else but to have fun. The experience is rich and comfortable for everyone who would be down to try it. The staff is the best, they are really caring and really make a strong effort to make you feel like home. Everything here is fair and flexible, the shifts are perfectly planned and if you want to explore around they help you on that :). Just wanna thank Daniel, Filippo and Rob for the incredible management and experience. And big shotout to all the rest of theteam that made my shifts so fair and fun! Def a place I will come back to.
