Sherley, Heilin et Maria sont des hôtes incroyables. Des belles personnes au coeur pur. Nous avons eu de superbes discussions à tous les repas sur nos cultures respectives. Les repas étaient délicieux et végé. Hummy! Nous avons fabriquer un mur en bambou, un autre de roches, fais tu ménage, nous sommes occupées des poules et autres petites tâches. Pendant nos temps libres, nous avons fais quelques marches vers le village, la rivière et nous sommes reposées. Merci pour tout, c'était super de vous rencontrer.

My experience with Shirley, Yeilin, and Maria was incredible. They are extremely kind, caring, and wise women and really welcomed me into their family. We ate every meal together and learned so much about each other and our different cultures; They truly want to connect with and learn from each of their volunteers. I got to practice my Spanish and experience Costa Rican life in an authentic way. Life here was calm, relaxing, and rejuvenating. The jobs were fun and I learned a lot from them! The week flew by and I wish I could've stayed longer (I had other plans). Thanks so much <3

I really enjoyed my time with Yeilin, Shirley, and Maria! They were super kind and friendly, very interested in learning about my life and culture, and I felt so cared for during my time there, especially since it was over Christmas. Thank you so much, and I hope we keep in touch!

This place and the family were amazing. From the first minute they welcome you with open hearts and help you with everything. There is always something to do on the Farm so you don't get bored, and there is a great variety of tasks. You realy get the feeling to be part of the family, and they also will show you a lot about sustainability and the environment.

Simply incredible! I immediately felt at home, such a warm and pleasant welcome! As for the work, there's nothing to say, trust reigns supreme and everyone listens to each other with the sole aim of getting things done. This little family and all their animals are adorable, there's never a dull moment with them! 😁 I recommend anyone passing through here to come and meet them and discover their exciting world! I'll be back without hesitation.

This trip was so life giving!! the hosts were absolutely amazing, costa rica is so beautiful, and the farm is such a restorative environment. every time we sat down for a meal we shared all about our cultures, lives, and heard/told too many stories to count. we shared endless belly laughs throughout the week. the community, the place, and the experiences, along with all the things we learned were definitely one for the books. i totally recommend the farm for your next trip!!!

What an amazing week! Our hosts were AMAZING, and so kind. The work was extremely manageable and fun. Taking care of the animals was exciting, and hanging out with the sweet dog Molly was definitely one of my highlights of the week! The views are beautiful and nothing beats that waterfall hike we did! Highly highly recommend! Just make sure to bring your bug spray because the mosquitos will get you 😂 I can't wait to come back! 💗

As soon as we arrived at the farm we were welcomed with open arms and felt instantly at home. Shirley and Yeilin are the kindest, loveliest people you will ever meet! The food was incredible, the work was fun and varied, and the whole experience was very chilled. We learnt a lot from these very knowledgeable women, and were also able to improve our Spanish through meaningful conversations, helped by their patience. Would 1000% recommend to anyone, we were so sad to leave!

Incredible people. Kind, welcoming, patient. They truly model sustainability in their ways of being, and they are so excited to learn from and share with visiting volunteers. They are strong women who taught me so many lessons not only about sustainable farming (animal care, reforestation, responsible consumption, etc) but about culture, self journeys, and the world. Highly recommended! It was my first Worldpackers experience, and I would have loved to stay with them longer <3 (had a next travel plan)

Overall very lovely experience. The farm was a beautiful and relaxing natural space, the food provided was healthy and delicious, and the work was reasonable. I had a great time conversing and I think my Spanish improved greatly in just one week. Would definitely volunteer here again.
