I have had a wonderful time in New Marigold school. Shamser's work and dedication is tremendously inspiring, and I have rarely felt so involved in a local community. You get the chance to see truly meaningful social impact in action. I would recommend it to anyone.

I loved my stay at New Marigold school, felt very welcome and Shamser was great at providing any information needed. I was very happy to help with construction work and help a little in class when needed. The task are very clear and there is a good system setup for dividing them. I was lucky that during my stay we were usually around 10 volunteers which allowed me to take a few weekend trips to see other parts of Nepal. I am so grateful for my time in Chiti and i will never forget Devis samosas or the beautiful smiles of the kids at New Marigold.

This experience was beyond what I imagined it could be. The kids at school are amazing and smart, although I only stayed for a week I was able to connect with them and felt very inspired by everyone involved in this project. The Mountain View is breathtaking and the volunteers I met there were also beautiful people with a big attitude of service. I will never forget my time at the school.

I was in the school New Marigold for 1 month and I had a great experience there. Shamser is a really kind person, and he's always available if you need him. I took part in the construction of the new classroom and in some painting and I had an amazing time. I'd recommend everyone to come and experience life in this school. I'm open to answering anyone who's thinking about taking part in this project!

I loved the experience, I felt at home and I would definitely like to come back someday. Shamser is a very good and nice person as well as the people who work with him. The children and families of the town are very nice and fun. I really like the initiative of this project and the reason why we come to work. I would have liked to come at a time of normal classes to be able to enjoy more with the children and spend more time with them, but I will certainly stay with this experience forever, thank you very much Shamser!

I stayed at New Marigold School, where Shamser and all the volunteers are very welcoming and quickly make you feel home! The tasks are assigned the day before, just sign up for whatever you want to do. This means you can choose your schedule and decide what to do with the rest of the day, wether you play with the kids, go to the village or relax. I really enjoyed the kid's positive energy, playing football/volleyball after school with volunteers & locals and the evenings you spend as a group. You support such a great Project while having the best time, I definately recommend this experience!

We absolutely loved our stay at the school Academy! Bimala, Shamser and the fellow volunteers welcomed us with open arms and the house felt like a family. The school was incredible- there were 15 volunteers when I was there so there wasn't too much work to go around but the school is a beautiful atmosphere with breathtaking scenery and what Shamser is doing is changing lives. Living in such an untouched mountain village was such a beautiful experience, I'll miss the milk tea and the dance ceremonies the locals brought us too. I would 1000% recommend. I spent 4 weeks at New Marigold. I really think it's important to stay for at least 2 weeks if you can because you spend the first week of your experience getting used to the new environment, routine and getting to know the kids. I loved spending 4 weeks at this school. This school is still relatively new and has expanded quickly so is a place that is open to new ideas and energy! I loved playing sport with volunteers and locals at the end of school days and going down to the local village for yummy food like momos and samosas! I highly recommend this experience!
