I volunteered for two weeks at the hostel behind the bar and it was overall a pretty chill volunteer experience and the work wasn't very difficult. It is a pretty social position if you are interested in meeting many international travelers. The volunteers all sleep in the biggest dorm in the hostel with other guests. You can also meet many people from Cartagena who are employees at the hostel and they are all very nice and friendly. The weather can get very hot and humid during the day and you have a good amount of time to explore the city outside of the hostel.

This experience at the hostel was amazing, I met so many people from all around the world and was able to really practice my Spanish! I worked at the bar so it was very chill work and I learned how to make cocktails. The hostel is really nice (but it can get very very hot) and the other volunteers were so nice, really recommend if you want to volunteer in Cartagena !

Volunteering at the hostel Cartagena was one of the best decisions I made while travelling. I was able to meet so many nice people, many of whom I will stay in contact with in the future. I connected with many other international volunteers as part of the team and they improved my experience massively. The hostel is clean and tidy and the free amenities provided by the host were perfect. The hours were always agreed upon prior to arrival and stuck to, with no confusion or negative changes, which leaves many free hours during the day to do anything you want. Muchisimas gracias to everyone!

My experience at the hostel has been incredible! The hostel is beautiful and exactly as pictured. The staff is welcoming and friendly. It is in the center of centro with lots to do and see. There is a 20% discount on everything in the hostel and some events are even free! The tasks are simple enough but the organization could be improved a bit. Thank you to Jhoan, Gaby and Ronnie especially for making my time even more special. Almost all the guests are from various countries in Europe and are very social. The beds are closed and have a light and charger and the rooms have AC.

Todo está muy bien organizado, las instalaciones son muy limpias. Las tareas son muy sencillas y ellos tienen la energía y ganas de enseñar. Me encantó colaborar y disfrutar mi tiempo saliendo con ustedes. Estoy muy agradecido de que me hayan recibido se les va extrañar a Liney, Marly, Maryory, a todos del equipo de funcionarios, los amigos voluntarios que conocí e a mi anfitrión Jhoan que es muy amable y agradable. Mi experiencia por República fue maravillosa fui por tres semana y me quedé un mes y medio, lo mejor del lugar sin dudas son las personas y el buen ambiente que se crea, la zona es la mejor. Joan el Manager es una persona increíble, siempre busca que la experiencia de los voluntarios sea la mejor, es un ser maravilloso si dudas ♡. El personal es maravilloso Liney, Mayoris,Salma, Sandra, Mateo absolutamente todos son geniales, les agradezco mucho por la experiencia y las risas. Los ♡

Todo fue increíble! A pesar de que mi situación fuera peculiar, Jhoan fue súper amable y brindó apoyo todo el tiempo. Realmente el ambiente en el hostel es increíble, todo mundo tiene una actitud positiva, tienen actividades increíbles y un equipo súper bien formado! Siempre me hicieron sentir en confianza y segura, lo cual me dio muchísima alegría y comodidad al hacer el voluntariado en el hostel. Fue toda una experiencia llena de aprendizaje y diversión! Mi experiencia fue maravillosa y superó mis expectativas! Apoyé en desayuno y actividades y me encantó! Jhoan (el anfitrión) es un genio y se convirtió en un gran amigo✨El staff es genial y muy amable, así como los otros voluntarios que hicieron mi viaje inolvidable. Nos convirtimos en una gran familia y los amo mucho! Me sentí super acogida desde el día 1, nos conectamos mucho, el hostel és lindo y tiene muchas actividades sociales, cosa que me encantó y enriqueció aún más mi experiencia.
